Then he went to the hardware store himself, took photos of all of the options that fit our criteria, and texted us the options so we could choose, saving me time from having to go to the store myself. He also went above and beyond by offering to fix the opposite side of the door frame, which was ugly before the project started. We didn't even think it was an option to fix that. Cornel installed the door, painted it, and fixed the trim on both sides, on the same day. The final result is absolutely perfect. It's beautiful, and the quality is stellar. Wise Choice uses a platform for selecting materials and so forth that was great in theory, rather questionable in practice, and our wires got crossed more than a few times. The time issue was simply that the projects took a bit longer than we'd planned. The time problem though was at least partly our fault (changing our minds about design, etc), and that was compounded by suppliers actually sending the wrong product on occasion, so certainly not all a Wise Choice issue. Other than that, they were great to work with, very pleasant people all around, very conscientious (cleaning up work spaces thoroughly every day), and the entire project came in under budget! We will definitely reach out to them again for our next remodel.

We first learned about Wise Choice through Yelp, and although we were initially nervous about choosing a contractor for such a large job (they gave us the best estimate, by far!) without a personal recommendation, we couldn't be happier with our decision. They were great to work with throughout the entire process, from architectural and engineering plans, permitting, and the actual construction. The project manager, Sergiy, and foreman, Bogdan, were very honest, helpful, and responsive every step of the way. The project was completed pretty much on budget (with only a couple of unforeseen issues outside of their control) and on time. So when it came time to remodel our downstairs bathroom, we didn't hesitate to call him again. From the start, the demolition was done with incredible care and attention to detail. Dmitriy and his team then built a walk-in shower completely from scratch -- we didn't even use a pre-made one! Their precision and craftsmanship are truly amazing. They worked hard, starting early every morning and continuing through the late afternoon -- non-stop. They kept everything clean and organized each day, never leaving a mess, and were mindful not to block walkways. Everything was completed right on schedule. He was in awe of their work. Everything was done to perfection. We had over 6 bids for bathrooms ( total redo) and their prices were amazing for the work they did! They listened to our concerns, came up with a plan. We could not be happier! Besides bathrooms, we were going to have them do our flooring- carpet to LV. Third floor condo - we ordered all, they bought everything up three flights of steps ( 950 square feet) - after carpet was up they noted flooring was off, and LV was not an option unless floor floated. We opted for carpet. They hauled all of the LV back down three flights. Zero complaints. Happy to do whatever was in our best interest! When we thanked them for their great work throughout, their response was always " we thank you. We are grateful for the work!" I am so thrilled to have found Sam and QPC for our renovation needs. We completely gutted the den, evened the floors, put in radiant floor heating, sealed off the small door to the patio and put in sliding glass doors, and completely reconfigured the laundry/half bath/water heater space! And, very importantly, he did an absolutely gorgeous job. His company is smaller, which means less overhead and, in my experience, very client-focused and driven to excellence.
