Purchased the extended warranty/ insurance that covered "anything" including water damage plus the $150 cover that just HAD to be on it or the insurance wouldn't be covered. We had it for about a year and I paid my monthly notes and generally enjoyed the mattress. Welcome Hurricane Harvey! During the flood my family lost EVERYTHING that we owned. I had the paperwork for my insurance and called to make a claim. I was told by the store as well as Tempurpetic corporation. Both parties told me that natural disasters were not covered. I had I spilled gallons of a beverage on it then it would be replaced, but not a flood?! I fought with both companies but ultimately it is in very small print. I know I should have read the fine print and I know Harvey couldn't be helped but I shouldn't have been told by the saleswoman false information. 2 years after Harvey I am still paying a monthly note and almost have it paid off. We spent 6 Months on an air mattress, 6 months on an old mattress given to us with springs sticking me in the back. I will never use either company again and will boycott them forever.

I found a hex head bolt that would work and said I needed a washer. He picked out one obviously too small. I said it was too small and he told me to try it anyway. I put it to the opening and he said, Oh, it's too tight. Then I was sure I was getting punked. I got my item and got out of there. I'm not sure if he was just trying to be that ignorant or not. I paid a little over $100 to have my fiancée's ring cleaned and to get three stones replaced, and then dropped over $500 on a gold wedding band for myself. One of the replaced stones fell out of the ring, and after bringing it back to Samuels, I was told that, to replace only one stone, I would have to pay $85, and my previous business at the establishment was simply disregarded. It's upsetting that my fiancée and I were lead to buy these rings, being promised up and down that we would receive the best customer service possible. This doesn't seem like great customer service to me.

She answered all of our questions clearly and didn't try to upsell us, or divide and conquer like so many sales people try to do when making this kind of sale. Her tone was friendly, professional and patient even though we were in the store looking for about two hours. We ended up purchasing a 2 carat wedding band set that my fiancée is crazy about. My fiancée left much more educated about diamonds and white gold, and I left knowing exactly how the warranty works and what policies sets Samuels jewelers apart from the other jewelry chains. I even got a 10% discount for being a military veteran. Whenever we need to purchase more jewelry, you can be sure that this will be the first store we check out. .
