The story goes I was approached at my door by a gentleman from your company. His name was Aldwin. He was charming, our roof was aging: the perfect recipe for improvement on our home. A couple days later, I was contacted by a staff member at Home Genius to set up an estimate for my roof. Tyler was our salesman. Tyler was very thorough and he explained things so that we can easily understand what goes into a roof installation. When it was time to have our new roof installed, Taylor our project manager for it called us. We didn't happen to catch his call, but his voicemail that he left was helpful. We understood what was to come the next day. The best part of our entire experience with Home Genius was the crew for sure. They arrived the next morning 7am and they worked until 6pm. I contacted Angis list for a company that can replace my roof. Home Genius stuck out to me due to their willingness to contact me promptly. A few days passed. Tom from Home Genius came by to give me an estimate. He was very thorough considering he was here from 10-4pm. His presentation was promising and a lot of that time was to finalize things. My job was scheduled quickly. A project manager named Taylor contacted me before the day of my installation to make sure i was still good to start this project. The crew was professional, they took many pictures during the installation so that i can see what they did. My only issue, small issue, was the language barrier when speaking with the crew but Taylor had informed me if I needed anything to call him and that was very helpful. All in all, things went smooth, everyone was a joy to deal with. Taylor was helpful any way that he can be. My house built in the 1800s was in need of some major restoration. I was searching and searching for a reliable exterior remodeling company. I got a few estimates which didn't really cut it for me. I haven't heard about Home Genius until i received a knock on my door. Two gentlemen were going around the neighbor while another project was being completed. I never open my door for anyone but seemed interested to see who they were. Long story short, my roof was only 10 years old but the company who installed it went out of business when I tried to call them for help. The guys showed up at my door about a week before the installation began. I have solar on my roof as well which was removed and reinstalled by home genius with the roof installation being in between that. The installation of my roof was fast. One day. The crew worked nonstop all day. Materials and dumpster arrived the day before when they were removing my solar panels. This process all in all was quite impressive. Upon getting our estimate for a new roof and other things, I was a little apprehensive due to my experience with another company in the past which replaced my roof but completely gutted me. The roof the last company installed was absolutely not what we bargained for since it only lasted a few years, they went right over the old shingles, and their warranty was only 5 years. 5 years is useless. My roof was replaced by home genius exteriors. It looks really well and the crew worked hard. We were tested with monsoon type rain and all seems well. I will say the job wasn't without hurdles. We ended up getting a quick storm during the installation. There ended up being some interior damage which was actually fixed pretty quickly by the crew on a different day of that week. So that was okay. I have a new garage ceiling painted and all. The other major hurdle was when they tore off the roof it turned out there was additional plywood to replace which cost me more money. At the end of the day there's a new roof over my head. I would still recommend home genius despite the eventful journey it took to reach the end. read more

Good group of workers. They were tremendous and finished installing my new roof quickly. It rained hard for a few days after the work was done and we haven't spotted anything of concern. My solar panels are up and running. They were removed by another great crew before the install of my roof and put back after the roof finished. My only gripe is the lack of communication on site during the roof installation. By that I mean there was a language barrier. Taylor did stop by during the day to check on things which then I was able to communicate with him. He was great and able to help any way that he could with any of my questions. One of your friendly employees came to my door to offer me a service. I know I needed a new roof for the past few years so I wanted to hear what he had to say. I accepted their offer for an estimate. The salesperson Kieth was awesome. He was knowledgeable and presented everything in a way that was easy for us to understand. We have a big roof but the crew worked vigorously. They were also very knowledgeable and got the job done without any surprises. Taylor my project manager was here to make sure everything was running in a smooth fashion. Great workmanship. I like the materials so far. I am going to wait out some rain days to make a full determination of product and installation quality. But from the looks of it, crew did a bang up job. Constant clean up is appreciated throughout the duration of the installation. Much care about their work. They worked all day and I did not see one of them complain or lose focus. Taylor the project manager answers very important questions (any and all). As far as the sales part of this deal, they seem to be pretty high pressure with their tactics. I get it, its sales but being on the receiving end of that is not fun. Wow, how great is the crew?? They die a phenomenal job from start to finish. The got to my house on time, in fact they were early. They got to work immediately because the roof material and dumpster were here the day before they started. All members did not stop until the roof was finished in ONE day. They took a lunch which is expected, but they did not loosen up at all. The project manager Taylor has been very accessible by phone or in person. They were not just good.. they were great! My home built in 1926 waa outdated and in need of an immediate upgrade. Sean was knowledgable and made ua feel comfortable proceeding with our siding project. The crew was on time every day and made sure to clean up after every day they worked. I'm very happy with the appearance of my roof and the warranty. The clean up was top notch. There were a couple of nails leftover but they were in unnoticeable places. Considering there were probably 1,000 nails that came off my roof, they did great. The price is high compared to other companies but I got what I payed for. I now have a very efficient ventilation system, ice and water shield to prevent ice damming, a breathable underlayment, and copper infused shingles. Btw the warranty is 50 years AND transferable. Again, I'm very happy with my new roof. read more

Was quoted one price but then when work started additional items were needed jumping the pricing to double the amount. Communication was also lacking and some other minor things I was unhappy with however Taylor the install manager was able to turn my experience around. Although the cost is still high he was attentive to mine and my mom's needs and did everything within his power to alleviate our issues. read more

The Home Genius crew did a fantastic job on my roof and gutter guards. Nothing negative to say besides the guy that dropped th dumpster dropped it in an odd place. The work itself is more than enough to make up for anything bad I could say about my experience. All together everything was finished in 4 days including the removal and reinstall of my solar panels.
