My first visit to this Castle building centre Looks like a quiet place but they have much to offer builders and DIY enthusiasts At this time I was only looking for a manual tool for removing old grout from tiles. They had exactly what I required at a reasonable price. Once inside one must explore. There were doors, windows, flooring, tiles and siding. Interesting selections available in store or readily available from their suppliers Did not have enough time to see more There will be other visits as the home projects that are still ahead in our home Staff was helpful and knowledgeable Location is handy with a reasonable parking area Great! read more

Got it home, unloaded the truck and found we were missing 5 posts and 2 rails. We called and spoke to the owner who told us, "Too bad, you loaded them." Really? That's not how you treat your customers. We will be buying double that amount but won't be getting it from Ashley's Home Center. They've lost our business!

I have tried to find an order I placed for lawn furniture early in June 2020. The order has not…read morebeen delivered and Home Depot has not been able to find my order. The order is showing as being shipped June 23. Again Home Depot can not find this order. Home Depot tells me that they cannot refund my order until I receive it! With this logic if they never deliver my order - it is lost - then they never have to refund my order! The Staff at the Brockville store have been very courteous however but refuse to refund my money - for goods not received

I found myself in dire straits when I discovered my Septic system was malfunctioning on Christmas Eve. I called the emergency service lines for most of the major outfits that service the Brockville/Smith Falls corridor. I explained that I had a houseful of relatives coming to celebrate the first Christmas in my new home (an older farmhouse north of Brockville) I felt desperate and despair when I realized I had to cancel Christmas as I had no working toilets, sink or showers. Most of the services stated they could not send anyone for several days. Later that afternoon got a call back from Sheldon Pilatzke, who patiently listened to my situation and started to help me troubleshoot the situation. Needless to say.. he said, "I can't leave you like this" ... and a couple of hours later arrived with the tools needed to pinpoint the 'root' of the problem. I could not have solved the problem without his help. He gave up many hours on Christmas Eve with his own family to help me and I am so grateful. If you need an expert plumber who is also great guy. We hired Elmer's Construction (of North Augusta) to empty our septic tank. They broke our lid. They…read moresaid they'd replace it, and we've had an open septic tank in our backyard now for a WEEK! They won't answer when we call, they won't call us back. I then called from another location they answered! All promises and 'we'll call you back!" Then they don't. I told them we have children and pets! I'm sure this is a health code violation. Then they had the nerve to mail us an invoice! I would recommend NOT using this company at all. They don't stand behind their work and treat their customers horribly.

Our results were excellent. We have used Elmers twice in a seven year period for septic tank…read moredraining. In both cases the response was same day, the work was quickly and efficiently done and the operator pleasant and efficient. I did ask him about the broken lid episode reported on this site. Yes - the lid had broken, but as they are cast concrete and do deteriorate with age this does occasionally happen. He showed me where the corner of one of your lids was chipped and might need replacing in the future. Next time I need the tanks drained I will call this company.
