I needed replacement tubing for my CPAP machine and it was kind of an emergency, since mine got damaged. I went to their website and opened a chat dialog to see about getting some supplies from my local "Retail" location. The "Customer Service" agent, "Trisha" said that wasn't possible as they don't carry any inventory. When I asked her what I was supposed to do as I needed the replacement quickly, her response was to tell me to go get it somewhere else. When I expressed my disappointment in that answer, she shut down the session. I tried calling the local "Retail" location, but it put me through to their main call center, which consists of several jumps through automated menus and at least two transfers before I finally got to a selection for automated supply ordering. I went through more menu selections and, when I entered my phone number, I was told it wasn't recognized. Twice. I couldn't back out so I had to start over from the beginning and, skipping the "automated" part, got to someone who also told me that the "Retail" locations were just for setting up equipment and that she could set up my resupply order and it would be here in 7-10 days. She seemed unconcerned with my fairly immediate need. She confirmed my information which included my phone number (You know, the phone number the system failed to recognize. Twice.). I'll see if anyone in town carries the tubing I need and, if not, I guess I'll be digging out my old machine until my resupply gets here in a week or so. I can certainly see why, everywhere you look, Apria has abysmal ratings. Their customer service is far from it and, being paired with Kaiser Permanente, as it is in my case, makes things even worse. I'm glad I'm switching back to Premera, where I'll, hopefully, get set up with a real medical supply company that has real medical supplies, instead of this mail-order garbage company.

But later as we are reviewing the Plan of care, we realized she hadn't heard us at all. When asked about it she made us feel inferior. But we knew if our parent didn't have the routine that we had explained that they would not accept help. my siblings and I have been caring for our parents for the past few years and just needed some time here and there for our own families. We were told Comfort keepers is the best so we read reviews and looked over their website and agreed that we would sign up. first of all there are only 2 administrators which seems to show that is overwhelming. Penny became snappy with us and maybe she is just overworked we don't know and can only assume. The scheduler and the caregivers were truly kind and caring. The scheduler unfortunately had to listen to us many times vent about how the plan of care wasn't what we had asked for which was simple... cook breakfast, clean the kitchen, provide conversation with our parents (we even made sure to tell penny a number of topics that were of interest to our parents) . we provide the grocery shopping and have a housekeeper for the house. Many caregivers were kind and compassionate. But there seemed to be an extremely high turnover of employees. We have since joined a caregiver support group to help us cope with the decline of our parents and discovered that there is many who have expressed the same concerns. we have since chosen another agency to provide care for our parents and the administration (so far we have counted 5 administrators) have all been so understanding, seem to have heard us and the caregivers are also amazing. We even got to see one of our past caregivers who had cared for mom and dad through comfort keepers and were shocked when she walked in (happy to see her) when we asked her about I she stated that she had left Comfort Keepers and is now with this agency, we then asked her why she left comfort keepers and she would only say that she didn't see eye to eye with the administration in the office and was very professional in her answer. I have sat on this for a while now because I wanted to make sure I left a review with sound mind and not anger. I wish everyone who cares for their family members peace and calmness and hope you find an agency who listens.

THE SCHNEIDMILLER HOUSE (North Idaho Hospice) because after being transferred there from the hospital in ICU, they said they would observe him for 5-7 days. IF he qualified, then he could stay. IF he did not, then I would be charged $250/per day but they also assured me they had a sliding scale according to your income. After the observation period they told me there really wasn't much else they could do for him as he was not in any pain. Isn't that the whole concept of Hospice care?? I had to have him transferred as soon as possible or they would start charging me. I found AUBURN CREST HOSPICE and brought my husband home with their loving and caring guidance through a very difficult time. My husband passed away a week later and I could not have asked for better nurses/CNA's and the other staff who deeply cared for me and my husband during AND after his passing. They are wonderful and I felt blessed to have found them. If I could give them 10 stars I would! I highly recommend AUBURN CREST HOSPICE.
