Our experience with Home Improvement Masters was outstanding! Mr Craig and his team did an amazing job adding the addition to our home. He was also able to get our entire roof replaced through an insurance claim and we were able to get a brand new roof. We upgraded from a builders grade three tab shingle to a more appealing architectural shingle, as well as replace a few of the gutters. I was underwhelmed mostly with the business side of things with this project. The estimate was nothing like the bottom line price. The contractor sent 50+ pictures pertaining to his findings but failed to inform me of the forecasting increase in cost even when I asked how much more and given budget. I was not given an updated estimate on potential cost but only given a bill that exceeded $10,000 over estimate. For the amount that i paid the quality and service was underdelivered. After expressing my dissatisfaction he agreed to do additional finishing work that took under 4 hours to recover the business in which he completed. I believe that for the price that work should have been included in the final price without him having to return. I feel as though I could have gotten better results from a different contractor. I would have appreciated clear communication on the potential cost before hand instead of the inflated bill at the end of the service. read more

Claimed he's insured, but refused to provide proof prior to work on repairing a very large leaking window about 20 ft in the air. He kept mentioning that he cannot provide a warranty on the repair because he did not install the window. We never expected a warranty on the repair, but we do expect proof of insurance because accidents happen. We don't believe he is actually insured, and if anything happened while on our property (repair or install), we would be held responsible. He also told my husband that he was "doing us a favor" and that he had a bad feeling about it to begin with. So why did he even provide the quote? Because he saw dollar signs with the window replacements, which aren't nearly as important as the needed repair.
