She consistently organizes creative projects and enjoyable outings each week, ensuring there is always something to look forward to. More importantly, she has a genuine gift for bringing people together, building friendships, encouraging participation and making everyone feel included. Manager Arron is equally dedicated and attentive. His presence is felt throughout the community, and it's evident that he truly cares about both the residents and staff. He fosters a warm, welcoming environment where concerns are addressed and relationships nurtured. The chef also deserves recognition for providing delicious, thoughtfully prepared meals that the residents enjoy. What stands out most is how involved the entire team is. They don't just work here, they form real relationships with the residents, creating a family like atmosphere. Outside of that, miscommunication, lack of transparency, and a couple of bad apples in their nursing barrel meant this facility did not work out for my mother. Management led me to believe this facility could manage my mother's rehab following her fall & subsequent injuries, but she languished in her room for 10 days awaiting their official assessment of her abilities (not to mention no one would touch her, lacking doctor's orders for physical therapy which I do understand from a liability standpoint, but fail to comprehend from a caretaking standpoint. So I essentially served as unpaid caretaker - even once physical therapy was initiated, no one communicated their findings or goals until the crisis point was reached, as the staff kept removing the transport chair she had been relying upon - insisting she use a wheelchair which was too heavy & cumbersome for her to maneuver with her limited upper-body strength & R-arm injuries. Again, no one contacted me, nor communicated with my mother other than to scold her for using a rolling walker "when she should be in a wheelchair". Overall, I believe they are accustomed to dealing with patients suffering from a much greater degree of mental impairment than my mother.
