He was incredibly friendly and willing to come out to Eagle County to provide a bid -- which came in at half the price of the original estimate. Our HOA ultimately decided to have them perform a full property cleanup, including removing dead trees, grinding stumps, trimming messy new shoots around the cottonwoods, and raising canopies to improve the overall health and appearance of the grounds. They did a PHENOMENAL job. It's rare to find such reliable and high-quality service providers in this area. Christian and his team were exceptional -- responsive, professional, and thorough. Update: After submitting a claim to their insurance company, they were found to be at fault by the…read moreengineer that their insurance company hired. They also damaged the heat tape when they put it back on. That is why it was tripping all winter. We are lucky we did not have a fire. Now that we settled with the insurance company, we now have to repair everything. Hogan roofing was amazing until the winter when their job did not hold up. They replaced the roof (5 years old) because of a manufacture warranty. We had zero issues in four years. The first year after it was built, there were a few minor issues because of the heat tape placement (which were resolved), but we had no issues after that. Now we have heat tape issues at the breaker causing them to trip. They are taking no responsibility for the brand new roof that they installed which leaked the entire winter. It does not matter how much snow falls in a year, no roof should ever leak if it is done properly.

This time is different because even after six months since OnPoint Contracting repaired my roof, I use that experience with them as my gold standard from now on. It was that memorable. My home is in a regular Denver suburb, and in March 2024 we experienced a severe hail storm. I thought "No big deal, our roof should be fine since it's not that old." Later that year, we were having our house painted, and learned that we had serious damage. We had our roof repaired before, but I forgot who the company was. I had a great experience working with On Point Contracting. On the day of my appointment, Nick confirmed the time earlier that day and arrived on time for our meeting. Nick also recommended and installed Owens Corning Duration Flex Class 4 impact-resistant shingles to help protect my roof from future smaller hailstorms, which I truly appreciate. When we first met Javier and Astrid, they seemed like kind, trustworthy people. Unfortunately, the quality of the work did not reflect that first impression. I was also surprised to learn that, despite the company's name, they do not hold a contractor's license--only a business license. Javier painted our condo, but the workmanship was extremely poor. He painted over hardware. There was paint on the floors and furniture, and the job was left incomplete with numerous areas still requiring touch-ups. When we asked for the paint color so we could finish the work ourselves, he refused to provide it. Based on what we observed afterward, we came to believe that only primer had been applied rather than the Navajo White paint we had specifically requested. Ultimately two full days were spent cleaning up the mess. Our realtor, who has seen many homes over the years, commented that it was some of the poorest workmanship she had encountered. We were also charged for a new ceiling fan, but a used fan was installed instead. In addition, a chandelier was installed in the kitchen where a standard ceiling light fixture would have been more appropriate. These issues resulted in significant additional time, expense, and frustration. Looking back, I would have gladly paid more to hire an experienced professional who takes pride in their work. Based on our experience, the quality of the workmanship did not justify the amount we paid, and unfortunately I cannot recommend Summit Contractor & Handyman, LLC.
