Stayed here for 5 days for work and honestly it wasn't bad at all. Room was clean, no issues there. I liked being able to check in and out through the app, and the keyless entry with my phone made everything easy. The app also lets you control the TV and stream Netflix, which was actually pretty clutch. They've got a 24hr coffee station which I used a lot. Breakfast was decent. Only thing I kinda wished for was scrambled eggs at least once during the week. Looks like their main thing is the breakfast sandwiches. They had sunny side up eggs every day and switched between sausage patties and bacon. Staff was alright, not rude or anything, just not super engaged. Parking is open which is a plus. Overall, not a bad stay and I'd stay here again for sure. read more

Clean , comfortable, and fairly quiet rooms. It is next to Beltway 8 which isn't too noisy at night. The staff is friendly but several were cutting up and joking when I checked in and talking about marijuana and cursing, which is not professional, minus 1 Star. The desk table barely rolls and the chair is torn up and broken which is discouraging, minus 1 Star. Breakfast is alright and it's free. No scrambled eggs, but they have those nasty cheese omelettes. They need to trim the trees for sure !!! You can't park in a shady spot without scratching up your vehicle, minus 1 Star. Do Not Stay Beg Bugs ‼ Woke up with bed bugs bites the irritating and constant itching ruined my vacation .! When I went to front desk no apology was giving no accommodations were given "example" another hotel near by . Nothing but you can switch rooms. I just needed a place to sleep on my recent trip to town but my stay here was comfortable. I did have problems finding the place on Apple map which led me to a church across the highway. I called the hotel and was told that happens a lot so use Google map! They have plenty of parking, although I didn't see any Diamond parking. Luckily I was able to snag a spot at midnight. I was disappointed that the digital key was not ready to use until after checking in at the front desk. I did get the room that I chose so that was good. It was clean and the bed was comfortable with firm pillows (yay!). Overall, I would stay here again if I'm back in the area. read more

Used to love this place. Nice value for the money, thought it was clean and close to Houston. Last trip, we found found a bed bug in the couch and reported it - we even left the bed bug in a sealed cup for them to find. We moved hotels and I asked for a refund for the last night of our stay. Filed a complaint with the corporate offices and this local management continues to do nothing and say there's nothing. DO NOT STAY HERE! The manager whose name starts with a C will NOT fix any problems because she thinks she and her staff do not make mistakes! I have been a Hilton Honors member for over 20 years and am lifetime Diamond level (i dont have to requalify status ever again). I frequently travel with a service animal and always notify the clerk when i check in. Some hotels have a paper i have to sign, some don't care because it is an ADA violation ( they can be fined by the US Government) if they treat the animal as a pet. In this case, the clerk acknowledged the service animal and said she had to put us in a special room. We don't care as we put down pads for our dog since she is aging and sometimes has to do her business in the middle of the night. APPARENTLY, the clerk was supposed to give me paperwork to sign ( she didn't). The manager i am referring to REFUSED to hear me out and told me that they have a protocol and that if I had mentioned the service animal, the clerk would have given me paperwork to sign and a sign to show the hotel staf that there was and animal in the room. I called the Diamond desk at Hilton Honors line and they PROFUSELY apologised and agreed to refund the $75 pet fee i was charged. read more

First time staying at this hotel as I usually stay down the street at the Hampton Inn. This hotel must be on the new side since it was very modern and very clean. Everything with the hotel itself was great. The breakfast in the morning was full of hot options to choose from. There are plenty of restaurants just down the street to choose from. The only issue I have with this hotel was the water pressure in the shower. Oh my it was the worst ever. Even when you changes settings on the shower it actually got worse. They probably installed new flow restrictors or something but the pressure was brutal. Otherwise a great place to stay. read more

Modern location but located in an industrial area. So no nice scenery or shopping close by. Only a gas station within walking distance but you need a car to get to other nearby places. Uber usually in 6 minutes. Nice linens, comfortable bed, expensive bath products (Zero% brand). Free breakfast enough to get your day started. Nice outdoor area for a group of friends/family to hang out. Some guests complained to us about the noise level above their room but my husband and I did not experience noise and slept comfortable. Kitchen has supplies for 4-6 people and has a full size refrigerator. Housekeeping forgot to empty trash and replenish coffee/tea items. We've been coming here yearly for the last 3 years. This year will be the last. The smell is horrible as soon as you start walking the hallways and inside the room. We moved twice because of the smell and the cleanliness. The couches are literally tearing apart at its seams. Night one I started becoming very congested, possibly because of the dust in the room. The stench won't go away no matter how much we try to air it out with having the AC on full blast. It's time for a renovation, we won't be coming back after this weekend. read more

From the looks of the reviews, the Home2 Suite franchise is struggling, but here you go... Houston - hurricane Beryl - 2.3 million without power. Ugly all around - most doing the best they can. But this Hotel made a bad situation worse when just a small amount of "I give a crap" would have gone a long way. I was coming in from out of town and was reserved a room in advance. As this is what I do, the day prior, I was calling every hour on the hour to confirm my room (especially knowing my flight was being delayed). Never an answer. I finally landed but it was 12-hours AFTER my reservation check-in... I kept calling.. no answer... but was finally able to physically get to the hotel - was told "your reservation was canceled. Our policy is if you don't confirm the room on the day of the reservation, we cancel the reservation." Of course I point out I tried - for two days - but no one answer. With a straight face he said, "oh yea, our phones been out for days"...wait - what?.. so I asked "How can I confirm my room if your phones are down?" to which he said "we've been using our personal cell phones"... I'm just blinking in confusion (He claimed he tried calling the number on my reservations, but I traced that number to the source, found no evidence that happened..) To make matters worse, the attendee's had zero interest in manage the situation or de-escalation. I'm thinking "At lease appear to care about the situation you created..." In the end, he relayed a message from his manager "...my manager said to email her". I just turned left at that point as the attendee mocked me saying "thank you, have a good day" Some recommendations for the Hotel (and the franchisor): - Take ownership for what you can control. You can't control that your phones went out, but you can control where incoming calls go. Most hotels in a situation like that, have calls forwarded to call centers that field incoming. There's an entire industry whose business model revolves around answering incoming when you can't. I'd avoid local companies. - Stop canceling un-confirmed reservations. Charge for the hold - one day and if not checked in or confirmed within 48-hours, then cancel. If the policy is more important that your guest's imposition, then at least take a hard look at how the policy is enforced in a crisis. If the policy requires they call to confirm and your phones are down, consider a real pause before you turn out your guest who made a reservation in good faith. - Train your counter staff. They only made a bad situation worse with the flipped and contemptuous tone. My experience -- customer service tends to be a direct reflection of management; broke doesn't happen by accident. - Your manager. Never tell a guest "email me" that's the universal response for "I don't want to deal with you right now..." the correct way to respond would be to get the guest's number and commit to calling him shortly. Don't talk to him in the moment if you don't want.... give yourself some time to explore solutions (if any) and allow the guest to come to terms with his/her new realty.. then call and talk... They may not like what you have to say and you may not be best friends after the call, but they'll have at lease the allusion that you care and would help if you could. It's the job.. do it correctly however uncomfortable or inconvenient it may be. - For travelers... be prepared.. have a back-up. your problems are just that - YOUR PROBLEMS they'll remind you of that when you show. read more

This past week we came into town for the State Baseball tournament and stayed at Home 2 Suites. When we walked in to check into our room they had a sign saying "Good luck Hitmen!" and then when we got into our room the hotel had a surprise gift for our little baseball player! It was such a great way to start off our week stay! They were always SO nice and patient with all 30+ of us! They allowed us to use the lobby as our main hang out area and got us anything we needed. The pool was nice and perfect for our little players! They had two grills and a nice area to sit and prep the food! This hotel looks new and I think it is but I really hope they keep up the fabulous customer service and doing those "small" gifts/surprises because it really goes a long way. This hotel is pet friendly too!! My baby got to stay with us during the week and it had the trip 100% better! They have doggy stations on both sides of the hotel! The only thing I would say is the smell... I don't know when it was but right when you walked it and in the elevators it had a gas smell or something... it didn't bother me but if you're sensitive to smell it might bother you!! read more

Hilton has really outdone themselves with this property. The Innovation that was taken into designing this room is a cut above the rest. This truly is a home2 suites. I love the entire room from the design of the closet curtain to the spacious living room to the full kitchen, workspace and king size bed. I love the technology that they put right beside the bed with multiple outlets and USB ports. I also love the curtain that separates the living/lounge area to the main sleeping area. There is a brand new flat screen Samsung TV in each room. The rooms also include GE appliances like a microwave dishwasher and a full-size refrigerator with cutlery cups plates and bowls. The bathroom is a very nice and sleek design. They give you Neutrogena soap and the best of the best LA fresh travel light make up remover wipes. In the shower you will also get Neutrogena shower gel as well as shampoo. This is a great asset if you forgot your soap at home on your travels. The lobby is very spacious and very inviting for people Who have large groups. I thoroughly enjoyed this Home2 suites by Hilton. I will bring my entire team back here to stay. This is a fairly new hotel and it does the Hilton brand justice. I was there before check in time and they were able to accommodate me easily. They staff are friendly and mad the stay enjoyable. This hotel has a pantry for those munchies that you desire in the middle of the night. My room had a king bed and came with a kitchenette and a seating area. The room was clean, but the shower could have used more attention. The only complaint I have is they have bulk shampoo and shower gel. They did not have those little bottles or conditioner. I don't mind the bulk shampoo but you have to have conditioner. With the strict TSA rules travelers are forced to either not bring their own or check a bag. I would stay here again, but you defiantly have to have a car. Or get ready to spend a bundle on a ride share. read more

This place has got paper thin walls, I am talking bad! I had dogs from down the hall keeping me up, could hear people next door talking and people having $ex in the room above me. The hotel also has the absolute WORST beds/pillows. I have slept in better beds in motels. It was also hard to tell how sanitary it was kept when my rooms dishwasher had 3 inches of brown/yellow water left in it as well as 3 pieces of used silverware. I should have taken pictures lol. All I can say is WOW! This hotel was so clean and modern on the inside. The front desk staff was very friendly upon check in. The front desk area also has a little market area in which you can purchase snacks and drinks which were decently priced and convenient! I'm not sure I could find one negative about this hotel. They had a great variety of breakfast items. Beds were extremely comfortable. Rooms were very spacious and modern. It truly is a little suite! Biggest refrigerator I've ever seen in a room; complete with a dishwasher, cooking utensils, glassware, and coffeemaker. The interchangeable work space was also one of the best features for me! If you are looking for a nice quiet hotel, in a great location (not too far from restaurants/highway access) this is it!! read more

I think it's important to recognize excellence whenever possible. I recently stayed at the Home 2 Suites by Hilton Houston/Pasadena in Pasadena Texas, from the beginning of my experience to the end, it was nothing short of amazing. The girls that help me out at check-in were cordial, helpful and informative. I was greeted right away and immediately begin to enjoy my stay even before walking into my room. From the parking lot to the lobby including all of the amenities that are available were immaculate and inviting. I felt as if I had just walked into a portrait which depicted a six (5 star+ 1) star hotel. Everything in the room was nothing short of amazing... I feel totally comfortable in using the word amazing over and over again. Just a very few minutes after arriving in my room, the phone rang... I was surprised, pleasantly surprised to hear the front desk clerk on the other end. The clerk proceeded to inquire if everything was to my satisfactory and if there was anything further I might need. I don't ever remember receiving such a call and this was a big plus in my book. Later that night, I was hungry... I love the fact that I was able to go to the front desk and meals were available for purchase. Speaking of meals, the breakfast was amazing as well, I was happy that I was able to sleep in and still make breakfast because it was available until 10 AM. The hotel was immaculately clean, very friendly staff & was pet friendly which is one of the reasons I'm really enjoying staying at Hilton's Home2 suites. I'm a Hilton Honors member & usually star at Hilton Garden Inns but when I am traveling for personal reasons, I stay at Home2 suites. This location was very quiet & safe. Very clean and new motel with nice newer rooms. While the location itself is very quiet, you can hear everything that goes on inside. Thin walls I guess. I shouldn't be able to hear other people using the restroom, or hear what each room is watching on TV at low volume as I walk down the hall. I could easily hear cars starting in the parking lot from my 3rd floor room. Also vividly hear all the doors on your floor opening and closing. Dogs barking on floor below me and conversations in the room above me. If you take Rx sleep medication, this place might be a suitable option for the business traveler. Giving it three stars because the bed pillows may have been the worst I have ever encountered in a hotel. Had a room with two beds and three pillows on each bed. All six pillows were lumpy. My first time visiting Houston, I only asked for a emailed receipt of my confirmation, and that was so I could have directions, driving from Dallas to Houston ( Pasadena), but unfortunately the front desk staff- Gio refused to send me my email confirmation and was extremely rude when I asked to speak to a manager, she told me he was in meetings until "the night", then he was leaving after meetings. Spoke to Marco the manager,m today who continued to interrupt me, and told me that I could not speak, " whoa", told me that the rate I was told by corporate for his staff member being rude would not be honored and hung up on me. Workers are only as good as the management, and this Manager is rude and ignorant and so was his worker, I now know where she gets it from read more
