I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Home2 Suites in Quebec City. It's close enough to the city if you have a car, and far enough you don't have to worry about paid parking over night.
Check in was super easy with the app, and the front desk team are stellar about answering your text messages (through the app). We used mobile key entry for everything which just added to the convenience of our stay.
The hotel has plenty of the amenities you'd need - water, hot tea/ coffee all day, pool, gym, etc. I was very happy to be able to fill my water bottle and grab a tea whenever we needed.
Our rooms were very clean and spacious. I loved the stay. It was comfortable and fantastic.
Oh and BREAKFAST! Yes. they have a huge breakfast buffet. You can make waffles, enjoy toast/ bagels, cereal, fruit, eggs, etc. I think their quality of eggs could be better but you know, can't complain. It's a hot breakfast.
The only thing is, we had to go to the front desk for everything. If you need towels/ extra blanket, usually a staff brings them to your room. At this hotel, they lacked a housekeeping staff after a certain hour so you had to go down for anything. They also didn't fill our conditioner bottle the first night, so we checked in to an empty bottle in the bathroom. I was told they'd put one in the next day, so we purposely left the DND sign off the door. And when we returned, it was still not filled. We had to go pick up our bottle from the desk the second night. The third day, they put extra bottles of soap on the counter which I didn't needed. But appreciated that they tried. It was just a funny miscommunication I think between the staff on what we needed. They're all super nice though.
I 100% would want to come back and stay here. I've always been a big Hilton fan and this hotel didn't disappoint. Their rates are also decent if you book early ahead. read more
