Staff are friendly withour being pushy and are generally knowledgeable and wiling to help or find an expert to help if it is specific knowledge that is required. All items are set out on one level, making it wheelchair and pushchair accessible. This store also has several sections with mangers specials where you can grab a bargain alwayd worth a look :)

The outdoor plant section is well stocked and the staff are very helpful in this area. The shop stock novelty as well as nice indoor plants and planters. They have excellent selection of bulbs which are reasonable in price. A good selction of gardening tools as well. The gifts are lovely, it is definately worth a browse to find something a little different as very good prices. They stock a wide selction of books for all ages and the children's books are lovely. They have clean toilets and are family friendly. Their is a little cafe there that sells lovely food. Be aware that breakfast is served till 1130am but food is not cooked again till midday. So time your visit for breakfast or lunch so not to be disappointed like we were! Their Christams displays are always lovely and they usually have a great Santa's grotto. They also stock fire works!

Sales staff can be a little pushy at times, but in the whole are friendly and helpful. Upstairs is a great bargain section of discontinued items that can be delivered in a short time frame. If you are willing to haggle a little you can pick up a real bargain!

The is a largish store selling things that are hard to get in town centres nowadays such as paint, bird food, garden items in the spring and summer, tools, cleaning products, curtain rails and loads more. I really like the bird food range it is very good value and includes peanuts, fat balls and sunflower seeds. Recently it has started to sell food which I find a bit strange as they only have room for a limited range.
