Had to spend no less than 30 hours on the phone trying to correct errant deliveries, items that were broken, etc. Multiple items are falling apart after 8-10 months and West Elm is denying any responsibility and declining to help in any way. I will never buy furniture from West Elm again, and would caution anyone from doing so. Desks have paint chipping at every seam 10 months later, leather chairs have metal and wood poking through the backs of them. West Elm says this is normal wear and tear. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

Once we walked in we were greeted right away and they asked if we wanted something to drink which caught me off guard because they offered wine spritz, water etc. just to add one alcohol beverage per customer. The place was huge so many choices of furniture and decor . They offer as is prices on stock furniture and everything is non refundable. They get things every day from all over the triad . We were not sure what color we needed and we wanted to make sure we had the right color. So we went home and got the drawer that we needed to match to and went back a second time. Debbie was not there and there was no one to help us. But we found the color samples and checked other pieces for the color and decided what we wanted. My wife called back later in the week and wanted to place the order. Debbie said she had to "check the price". When she came back to the phone, she alleged that she had made a mistake, and the set would be about $859 higher than her written quote. Had we been given that price to start with, we would NEVER have considered the set. She then went to check with the Area Sales Manager to see what she could do, and could do nothing. We discussed it and decided to offer to split the difference in price and made that offer to Stickley. The Sales Manager refused to move at all. Needless to say, we did not buy the set. Basically, what we have here is the classic "bait and switch". I would never do business with such an unethical company and urge you all to stay away. The only reason I give them 1 star is that I cannot give them less. We wasted a lot of time and effort due to their shoddy business practices and/or incompetence.
