However, the passion the associates have to meet your exacting vision knows no bounds. On more than one occasion I've found myself texting/emailing with an associate regarding the most frivolous of products such as cufflinks. While many high-end fashion department stores have been unable to keep up with the change of consumer demand, it's nice to know Boyd remains a permanent fixture in the local community.

Knowing I planned another visit to the King of Prussia area, I brought my no longer loved items to the Neighborhood League Shops, a nonprofit in Wayne since 1912. This is my first time consigning. I learned that each drop-off is limited to 15 items, and no books are accepted. The ladies in the shop were very friendly. They explained the consignment process and accepted my two boxes containing less than 15 items. When shopping for preloved items, the quality and value of these older, well-made products are second to none. The Neighborhood League Shops offers an excellent selection of reasonably priced cut glass, crystal, sterling silver, etc.

We walk back to where we were and ask about this. They know nothing, they said, just that the cash box had not been collected. That's it. This is hard to prove but it was a small/low price item in each case so I hoped they'd realize it's not worth my time to lie about something like that. They didn't question it at all, just cheerfully offered to replace the missing two items, and provided substitutes because the exact print wasn't available. They were also rockstars with a recent size exchange I needed to do. I needed a different size, same item and color, they had it in store AND it was cheaper, so they took my online refund, then charged me less on the replacement purchase. Score! It is also fast and easy to exchange an online order and have them ship a replacement if they don't have the exact color/size in stock. They really do their jobs well here, and always provide excellent customer service. Super happy to have this as my nearest store!
