Do not trust the associates when you put an item on hold, they will sell it unapologetically. I placed 2 ottomans on hold with an employee that were at the very front of the store. It was a great find, and I knew it would get picked up immediately, so I wanted to make sure that they held them for me while I shopped around as they were too big to fit in a cart. I urged the associate to do more than just place a sticky note on it that says "CSS" (customer still shopping) and at minimum take my name if she's unwilling to place behind the 2 ottomans behind the counter like I had requested. She assured me not to worry, and that both will be available to purchase when I go to checkout. Well guess what?! They ended up selling both of the ottomans I had put on hold while I was shopping! The associate didn't even apologize and the manager wasn't willing to lift a finger to make it better. I was so upset I ended up cancelling my transaction for the other items I had shopped for and left. Do NOT trust these associates to actually hold your items, even when you urge them to take more info/action. The least that should've been done was offering a discount on the other products I was planning to purchase (I even asked the manager, and she said "no" and was equally as unapologetic as the associate who was supposed to hold my items). Purely infuriating & dissappointing, will be avoiding returning to this store at all costs. read more

This is a great place to find amazing finds for the house, kitchen and garden. They usually carry nice selection from around the world and local stores. I like to buy special foods here like jams and cookies. Locally they have two stores and it's good to note that both stores carry different stuff. Plenty of parking at both locations. read more

What a fun place to shop. You could spend many hours looking at the beautiful dishes from Mexican to European flair. Doggy items galore, kitchen and bath with great prices. I throughly enjoy its many oils and food products. It's wonderful fun. read more

This store is HUGE and gets very crowded! The checkout area had such a long line but we did get thru it rather quick. I could spend hours in here shopping. Home Goods is my retail therapy!! Love coming to find teas and sugar free flavor syrup. The kitchen area is one where I could stay just too browse all they have. Located on the lower level of the parking garage. Employees were goofing around in the aisles while a Huge line of about 20 customers wrapped around the store. They had 2 new employees working the registers - no one else. Neither knew what a tax exemption was - and I don't mean how to activate it, but actually didn't know what the words "tax exemption" meant. Our company buys from them a lot and has tax exemption so I had to wait for a manager. The people in front of us had some discount that took about 10 minutes for a manager to come over. Then the manager disappeared again before our tax exemption could be applied. The cashiers are undertrained and underpaid at this location. The corporation is showing huge profits on their P&L - and not pushing those profits down to the training for employees. A flimsy bookshelf was $400. I can get a nicer one delivered to my door on Amazon for $120. Prices have gone up here, while quality and customer service has gone down. read more

Anything your heart could desire when it comes to home decor and discounted dry gourmet food items. Homegoods is on my weekly or biweekly circuit of errands. They are constantly getting new items and if you see something you love you better get it because it's unlikely to be there when you return. The latest steals for me have been bathroom rugs, discounted Calvin Klein sheets and a beautiful vase. They also seemed to always have an assortment of root beer and unique sodas that I pick up pretty regularly for my son. read more

Maybe its in my veins because of from my family's love of TJX Brands but I love Home Goods. I have been going to Marshalls and TJ Maxx since I was a young girl and my paternal grandmother even worked for the company. My mom was sure happy that the parent company started rolling out Home Goods. I guess what they say is correct...the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. The stores my seem like "low-budget" but their offerings do not reflect this. It is difficult for me to not stop in HomeGoods when I am in the area because of their nice and unique offerings. It is located at the Walters Crossing shopping area off N. Dale Mabry, next to PetSmart and two doors down from Whole Foods. I always love perusing their kitchen items, furniture, and wall hangings. I have also gotten some good accent pillows and quality brand-name beach towels from here. Their bath section is also pretty nice. The store is quite large so there is lots to see! I also enjoy their seasonal decor. Its fun for me to imagine the merchandise they sell in my dream house. Check it out if you are looking for trendy and chic home furnishings and accessories. I don't get the hype of Homegoods. I always walk out of this store empty handed. Homegoods reminds me of a more organized version of Tuesday morning. You can actually walk through this store without stepping over merchandise and the display racks are all very tidy. The reason I am not a fan of Homegoods is because the deals are ok, but not great. Usually, I can find the same merchandise at better prices online. The store merchandise is also very limited. On my last visit I came here for kitchen tea towels, but didn't think any of the colors or patterns were appealing. Nice concept, but I have yet to find anything here that I need/want to buy. read more

Ah, Homegoods. Such a simple name for a "home goods" store but this place is wonderful. Left to my own devices, I'd probably spend all my money there. Homegoods is a great place to come if you're in need of some nice decor for your home at a reasonable price. Think Marshall's home section except better and with more designer names. There's also way more furniture here and a ton of awesome lights/lamps. I got a really neat coral lamp from here during the summer and it has spruced my living room up quite a bit! Homegoods has a lot of dinnerware and cooking appliances, so if you're looking for great looking cups, bowls, plates etc. at a good price, you should make a stop. There's ample parking here since it's right next to a Target and a WholeFoods so parking isn't really an issue. Ultimately, Homegoods has always been one of my favorite home stores. I always seem to find something cool when I come here that gives my house unique little touches that really make it "me." read more

Always something new in these stores. Even though the Brandon store is closer, wife likes this one better. They seem to have a wider selection of things......and more of them. We walked out with a nice little chair for our guest room today. $100, a good price for a nice chair. Not designer. but serviceable. The staff is kinda indifferent to the customers roaming about but that's ok, I don't need anyone asking me if I need help. If I do I'll ask, thank you. What does bug me, and it seems to be spreading everywhere (Publix especially) is the practice of the checker asking if you found everything ok? I say no as often as possible just to see their faces, the poor kids don't know what to do. Try it, it's fun to watch. HomeGoods is one of those stores that you can come in just to browse around whenever you don't need anything but still want to go get something you don't need haha. There's always something you will find, like, take and hopefully put to good use. If not, then it will make a nice table piece. Lately I have been coming in just to try to get some sweets, but I have noticed that there aren't any more sweets (chocolates boxes in this case). So not sure if they are switching to healthier alternatives or they are just not carrying anymore chocolate boxes until holiday season? Please bring them back soon since I used to find some really good types/brands and stock up on them. I love this place so much I dream about going there. You will definitely want to walk through every single aisle for the fear of missing something! This dreamy home store is hit or miss. Seriously one of my favorite places to shop. The prices here are unbelievable...lots of high end brands (Le Creuset, Ralph Lauren, Cuisinart, etc) at a fraction of the price. If you're trying to make your house feel like a home, this is where you go. They have a great selection of kitchen gadgets, serving pieces, bathroom accessories, decorative knick knacks, office accessories, lighting fixtures, candles, children's toys, art work, furniture, bedding, pet supplies, and seasonal items. Make sure to check out the clearance sections. They're every few aisles (and marked with a red clearance sign, but still hard to spot) and you can find some ridiculous deals. read more

There is nothing that I don't love about this place. Besides the fact that they take all of my money. A wide variety of home decor and furniture- there's something for everyone here. They have some quality pieces for decent prices. Now, don't confuse this with Ross or Walmart- some of their furniture can still be a couple hundred dollars- but, it will be worth it, as it won't fall apart in a year. Another cool thing about HomeGoods is their selection of gluten free and organic grocery items. You can get great deals on baking mixes, cookies, chips, pastas. I do like to come in and just imagine what I could do with all the decorations, pillows, bedding and furniture. If you are into home furnishings and decor, gourmet foods from across the works then this is the place for you! I decorated most of my home from amazing purchases from Homegoods. They have very good quality items that you can even find in current catalogs at other high end stores but for a fraction of the cost, who doesn't love that! It is literally like hunting for treasure everytime I step inside because you really don't know what special item you may find! Pro tip: if you see something you like don't think about it don't put it down do not even blink because when you go back for it it will be gone! They have a great return policy with receipt so if it's something you realize won't work in your space or you change your mind you can always return it. Believe me I've had many Homegoods remorse on something I didn't buy only to return the next day and poof it's gone. Love the fact that I now have one so close to home! I think any Homegoods, Marshalls or TJ Maxx are the best place to shop for home things and maybe tops from TJ and Marshalls. I like to find my designer pants at Nordstrom Rack but this company has the best prices on house decor, kids stuff and just everything house. Please open one in Hawaii in the future as well as Marshalls. We have a TJ Maxx there but having a Homegoods and Marshalls will make my life complete in Hawaii. read more

I hate shopping.....usually. Homegoods is one of my few exceptions. I can spend hours in here, I even use it for just window shopping when I need a little escape. I always find something I want here. It's full of pretty shiny things! I bought my favorite wine glasses here. There is everything for the home, dishes, flatware, glasses, shower curtains, fancy foods and oils, seasonal decorations, pet stuff, garden stuff, furniture...it just goes on and on. The one that I did go to back home didn't have a lot of selection, so this one was a very nice change for me. They have such A variety of things for my apartment, and they are always fully stocked. The staff is very friendly, and the store is extremely clean. I love going here for all of my random organizing needs, and kitchen tools! The large parking garage parking is also a huge plus! not to mention the fact that they are located in the same building as Petsmart, target, and Whole Foods, so I get all of my shopping done in one trip. read more

Have shopped at HomeGoods stores for years and was excited to find this one close by. This location has a wider selection in comparison to others in the general area (reasonable driving distance). However, though it feels like a larger store, it still pays to check with other locations if you are looking for something in particular. For most any location, inventory changes daily so visit often and if you like, get it. It may not be there when you go back. This is a frequently busy location. Parking can be a challenge as well as obtaining assistance in-store. There are a few staff that are a bit indifferent or just simply dismissive all together. However, noticed recently this location has more consistent staffing in the recent weeks, which helps quite a bit as you shop (staff recognize frequent shoppers) and when you do ask for assistance. read more

My wife and I have been shopping at this store since it opened. We always were satisfied and happy that this store was near our home. Unfortunately I just have had a quite disturbing incident with the management. On Feb. 9th I received a beautiful vase from my daugther for my birthday. My wife placed it on a fine piece of furniture and it looked very nice. Last night I went to get a piece of candy from the candy dish that was right next to the vase. I tapped the vase with my ring and it just fell apart. Surely it was a defect that caused this because no glass breaks this easily with just a light tap from a ring. I brought it to the store my daughter bought it from and just asked if they would replace it. I waited for the sales girls to finish talking to the manager and the response was "no ticket no refund". I never asked for a refund. I also explained that it was a gift from my daughter and that she misplaced the receipt. This was to no avail. But I did leave the vase there and told them to keep it. We are perturbed and will tell this to our friends and family. The manager did not have the decency to come out and talk to me. Of course we will not shop at this store any more. Thank you manager for your professionalism. You just lost a good client. read more
