I thought this store was too big, loud, and hard to find products. I guess I expected to be more like Hobby Lobby and I felt it was more like Dollar Tree. They did have lots of soft blankets for sale and the clearance section had decent prices. We could not find items easily that we were looking for and didn't seem to find anyone to help that wasn't on a register. If you're looking to shop early for a holiday at full price they have it (Easter, 4th of July, St Patrick's day) I suggest waiting for the clearance prices. This used to be a great place to shop for reasonable home décor and outdoor pottery. It's still very reasonable compared to other home stores. It's also a great place for holiday décor sales. The Halloween & Thanksgiving items are 75% off, and the Christmas items are 50% off as of January 2024. Unfortunately, this last visit was a mixture of the good and the ugly. The good was that they are stocking even more items than ever before. If you can't find it anywhere else for a good price, then you'll definitely find it here. The employees are always very nice & helpful. The ugly was the restroom situation. I should have known right away when I saw the dirty door leading into the restroom. I'm not exaggerating when I say it is absolutely atrocious. I certainly hope that the employees have their own private bathroom. To add insult to injury, they had no paper towels or toilet paper in the dispensers. Most likely because they were all rusted and falling apart. The toilet paper roll was just sitting on top of the toilet tank lid. The paper towel roll was by the sink. How many hands have touched these paper product rolls? It was horrifying! I had to use my own hand sanitizer after touching that towel roll. The only thing operational in that restroom was the soap dispenser on the wall. Honestly, I don't remember it ever being this unsanitary. I hope management can get with their corporate office to get a total renovation. It's very sad. read more

Rarely do I Ieave this store without buying something, always much more than I intended. It's because this store carries unique inventory versus the large box stores in the area, especially during the Christmas season. This is where I find outdoor decor that wows my neighbors, whether it be colorful lights, snowflake lights, solar lawn stakes,.giant ornaments, Christmas trees, etc, etc. I wish I could purchase one of every item! One star removed because the parking lot is very dark at night. It's a large shopping center with a Home Depot, so it's a shame that customer safety is not a factor. read more

Halloween time is coming and Ole Time Pottery has some really cute stuff for the spooky season. It's been awhile since I've been here and it's changed quite a bit like the have clothing options and there's an empty space to the right of the store but maybe that's for the upcoming Christmas season. I am really saddened and disgusted by old time pottery's management/owners allowing their bathrooms to be this much of a disgrace. I walked into the bathroom as the only person and two people walked in after me and made comments out loud about how absolutely disgusting it was.This is completely unsanitary and inexcusable for any store and this truly needs to be corrected immediately. We have shopped at the Old Time pottery twice in the last two days because they have an amazing ceramic pot selection, at fantastic prices! Each time Robert has given us excellent customer service and even helped us load our truck! Corinne was also very helpful the first day that we came in and noticed we needed assistance. It was refreshing to be asked if we needed help. Our cashiers both days were pleasant. This will now be a regular stop for not only their gardening supplies, but their baskets, wicker, hampers, rugs and travel mugs! The lamp selection was also extensive, and I can see us doing a lot of Christmas and holiday shopping here in the future. They have a selection of ceramic bunnies that are so adorable for spring decorating. I highly recommend the store on Adamo drive! I hardly ever atop in these type of places. Not cuz they may not have what i need. Its a; "i don't think i can walk out of here without buying stuff i may not need" type of problem lol. I did this time walk out with what i needed. I wanted like 10 things i needed but don't have the space for them. They git plenty of glass containers for yummy kombucha, it was my main goal to find a third 1-2 gal container. I was tight on the cash so i went with one of those giant water bottles for $5. It serves my purpose and its big mouth to. Walked out with a pack of clothes hanging thingies. I built a nice cloth hanger in the yard. Who knew u needed those damn things? lol I really wanted to buy everything i needed to fix the yard up but its not needed atm. This store is actually huge and caters to holiday spirits types of people. They do sell furniture and a lot of accessories for everything. I couldn't stay longer cuz i just got my bloodwork done in the FLC i was getting di--zzz--yyy O_o I got scared on the way out. There was one lady at the register and the client she was helping pretty much bought the store lol we pilled up about 10 people waiting in line. No biggie i really wanted my things. Favorite place to shop for the holidays and they are stocked up on Christmas items including bulbs, trees, decorations, and plenty of cute items that I am using to bring some cheer to my apartment. If you're more crafty, they also sell all the items you might need to do your own craft projects at home. They need to hire a professional company to clean N sanitize the bathrooms. Floor is filthy, soap container broken, paper towel holder broken or empty. Bathroom smells like urine, trash can overflowing, paper on floor, which is not acceptable. There was a very long line to check out so people abandon merchandise. This a warehouse of home goods from furniture down to a spoon. The flow of the store is overwhelming with items to buy not in the appropriate spots they belong. If you are willing to look past all that and find things on your own without assistance from staff members then you will enjoy this shopping store. The parking goes on for ever just as big as this store. This store reminds me of a Walmart version of Bed Bath and beyond. read more

I cannot believe I was such an asshole to stand in line for 2 hours for crap I did not need!! There was a power surge, so none of the registers were working. They got the first one going, but everyone had a full buggy that it took lots of time to ring up. No one announced that the registers were down. We were probably 15th in line. The line was al.ost to the restrooms....oh, let me not even go there! But I will...the most smelly, disgusting bathrooms I have ever been into! It smelled worse than the zoo! I don't know when it was ever cleaned. Anyways, back to the confusion. They should have told everyone that if they wanted to leave, they would hold the buggies until the next day, or even later on in the day. And of course, after almost getting up to the register, the manager came in and rebooted the system. They opened another register, and instead of saying "Next in line," all these people rushed up. So, people behind me got checked out. Is this how they manage their store? OMG...they suck!!! I will never go back!!! Plus..no returns, so I'm stuck with all this crap I waited 2 hours to buy. I have been able to find many home goods I've needed, often for much less. I decorated my porch with bright and durable pillows, a few cute decorations and the whole porch looks just as great and fresh two years later . When I had an elder dog who couldn't walk on the new flooring, I picked up inexpensive but nice rug runners. It's a fun place to get things for much less to brighten up a room or a unique "thank you" gift. The staff is cheerful and patient. read more

This place is pretty awesome. Lots of housewares from area rugs, fake plants, flatware, candles, holiday decor, etc. Oh and yes, there is some pottery in a little section outdoors. The stuff is made pretty cheaply, so don't think you are going to walk into a "Super" Pier One. The prices are fairly decent, and they do offer a military discount. I can't quite remember if it was 10% or 15%. You'll need a couple of hours to browse through all the aisles. It's a great place to find gifts for your teacher or mail carrier. The place is a little dusty, but you get what you pay for. The staff is pretty helpful as well. I was excited to see that they had a rack of Lodge cast iron and the prices were actually cheaper than Amazon. I snatched up a little pan for my egg whites sandwiches. read more

This is a great little store with something for everyone. Whether it's holiday decorations, dishes, wine glasses, kitchen utensils or lamps, they've got it here. I particularly like the stemware selection. Very inexpensive and many styles to choose from. I recently picked up a pair of table lamps from here for less than $60. They look great and really add to the decor without spending a fortune. The store by its nature has a lot of things, so that can add to its disarray. Some of the items appear cheaply made as well, so shop wisely and be selective. I am not suggesting that you not shop at Old Time Pottery just be aware of their return policy. They will not exchange or give you your money back if an item is broken, or the box was opened- even if you bought it that way and you had to open the box to find out that the item was broken. You have to have your receipt and an unopened box for any return or exchanged. This is on their website and suppose to be on your receipt-- "If accepted, returns of new, unopened merchandise will receive the lowest retail price within the last 30 days.  Returns of open or used items without a receipt will not be accepted." However they won't take the item back even if you have a receipt if the box has been opened. read more

Old Time Pottery is an interesting store. If you've never been, I recommend walking through and seeing what it's all about. I'm not sure I can completely sum up the whole store in one review. Departments include: kitchen, dining & entertaining, bed & bath, floral, seasonal and more. It is a low price establishment. There is nothing high end in this store. You'll see a lot of "Made in China" stickers. Although, they do have a good selection of Lodge cast iron cookware. Lodge makes a good solid product, and it's been American owned and operated since it opened (as Blalock in the mid 1800s). They have some other good cookware, but nothing too fancy. It's a great store for holiday shopping, birthday or wedding gifts, or many other shopping needs. This location has good parking, a large inventory, and friendly & professional service. read more

Big warehouse full of stuff that you probably don't need but might buy anyway. Useful stuff: Rugs, big planter pots, glassware and housewares type stuff. Also: epic numbers of tchockes and crap no one needs. Half the items in the place are missing pricetags, so you have to go up front to get a price, and if you are like me, that gets really annoying. Put in some price scanners people. The staff is generally friendly and helpful - way better than the organization of the actual store. The first time I came to this store I was blown away. Make sure you come with time if you plan on browsing each aisle. There is so much to see. Some of the items aren't always well priced but they basically have everything. Aisles and aisles of everything for the home. There are seasonal items for every holiday. There are items such as outside patio furniture or cushions, vases, greeting cards, books and kids books and activities items, reading glasses, fake flowers, wooden boards with great sayings, different types of letters so you can decorate your home, rugs for different needs and sizes, bathroom curtains, lamps, artwork, clocks, other wall decor items, couches and table sets, glasses, bowls, casserole dishes, mugs, and more! Everything you can think of to decorate your home. I find, however, they have a lot of by the sea or beach items which are great for the people who live in St. Pete or by the beach but since I live inland, I won't be able to use those items. I don't know how you couldn't love this place. It's awesome. Totally affordable decor, dishes, dog beds, appliances, toys, lighting, baskets, crafting gear... Ummm pretty much anything you can think of! I found the size and volume of what they had to be pretty amazing. There was a full aisle of doggie beds for example. An aisle of glassware. An entire aisle of bedding sets (cheap quality for some items other items pretty good). I'll be back to pick up "around the house" stuff before I go somewhere more pricy. Great spot! read more

Whoa! You could DEFINITELY get lost inside Old Time Pottery for hours - the store is enormous and it is filled with so many home goods your eyes might pop out. Great place to pick up basic cups/dishes/etc. I picked up some unique looking pottery for food photography when I was there; I spent all of $5 for 3 pieces! There was also a lot of cute holiday decor on display that I know I could get in trouble with if I was able to decorate my apartment! read more

I think this place is great! It's a gigantic warehouse full of house stuff. And the prices are pretty cheap. It's like a Ross version of Home Goods! I like to switch things up in decorating my house often so it's perfect for me. If you are looking for high quality that will last a long time I wouldn't shop here. My parents are retired and live in Riverview, and Brandon is 2.5 miles away. I try to go shopping here twice a year and I wish there was one in north Atlanta where I live. I have purchased inexpensive serveware, casserole dishes, seasonal decorations and much much more. I enjoy spending time with my aging mom, but the store is so large they should have some sitting benches. A small cafe inside, and would generate more shopping but fortunately there are many surrounding casual restaurants. read more
