We almost considered it for our wedding reception but we would have had to limit our guest list and parking is even more limited. However it is an economical option. Got a reply on Friday telling me that they would be here on Friday. Didn't know if it would be morning or afternoon, and then I was very rudely informed that they had 280 clients and 3 machines, and that they weren't going to mow 10 yd a day. As if this had anything to do with anything, I guess they have either too many clients or they need to buy more machines. I don't know. So I said, I wanted to know so that I could be here because I don't allow people on my property when I'm not here generally, whenever I've had that happen, things have disappeared. And they were very animate about the fact that that I did not need to be here that it was fine if I wasn't here to the point that it made me uncomfortable. And and then they said, oh, we'll send you pictures why I would need pictures, I have no idea because I live. Here. So that kind of made me uncomfortable. The fact that they really seemed to wanted me off the property when they were here. Well, of course, Friday comes and goes no one shows app again, no 1 replies on Friday when I text them again, so I find someone to come out Saturday and the only time I even got a reply from them was after I informed. Them not to come out on Saturday as if they were planning to, because I'd already found somebody that would come out and do the job. So the the guy was like, well, we just can't come out. And do you we put you on a route blah blah blah? But at no point in time was any of that explained to me, I wasn't told I was being put on a route, I was told that they would be out Thursday and Friday, I gave them one day's grace because of the rain, they told me that they would be there Friday, but they didn't know what time then they didn't show up. They were very rude. They are the embodiment of incompetence. Their accounting system will keep you on your toes. If you don't monitor EVERY transaction in your checkbook and EVERY owner's ledger you will have a cascade of accounting issues to sort out. They have taken funds out of the association checkbook without submitting an invoice and claim they had the contractual right to do so under the auspice of "Capital Projects" that exceed $2,500. I capital project is very time intensive and expensive. The costs of a capital project are amortized over multiple years. Building maintenance and repairs are expensed in the year they are incurred. I called in a plumber on tow repairs that needed to be completed and scheduled for the work to be completed. I have worked with the plumber for over 10 years and there is nothing to do do after they are called in to do the work. PMI - Adventure Coast had a couple of email correspondence exchanges with our plumber and took 10% of the total cost of the work that was done or $1,350. They did the same with another plumbing project for $3,000 where PMI did absolutely NOTHING. I and the unit property manager coordinated the work with the plumber and PMI took 10% of $3,000 or $300. This is just a trailer of the reviews to come. I will follow up this review with multiple reviews documenting all of the mistakes and missteps our association has had with PMI and every one of the review will be accompanied with a one star rating.
