While there, we came across the Batter Up Bakery and thought we'd pop in for a snack. The space is open and the staff was friendly. We eventually decided on 2 sausage rolls and one apple fritter to share. The sausage rolls were good, but the piece de resistance was that apple fritter. It. Was. Huge. And delicious! If we ever pass through Vulcan again, this bakery will definitely be a stop we add to our list.
