She found Eagle Summit and was able to be seen right away. She came back raving about the positive experience she had, which encouraged me to make an appointment for both my husband and me. It has truly been an amazing experience. They are kind, friendly, welcoming, and very thorough. We have only been going there for about two months, but so far every visit has been excellent. My first major procedure is coming up soon, but I am trying not to be concerned because I feel comfortable and well cared for by the team. Additionally, one of the receptionists remembers who we are and always asks about our long drive into Eagle River. I think we have found our place.

Walking into the already friendly atmosphere, I am always greeted by the workers everytime I checked in (using the tv looking screen). The wait time is never over 10 minutes! I didnt get braces from them, but was fitted for retainers because I misplaced my other ones about a week earlier. They gave me a "menu" of flavors to pick from for the taste of the mold. I never had my previous dentists give me a choice... Pina Colada! The impressions took around 5 minutes to make. I left around noon and returned later, but in the mean time I went to Blondie's Expresso down the street and picked up a pina colada milk shake! In a nutshell I made an appointment, got my impressions made, and picked my retainers up all in the same day. Such fast and diligent service! When I walked up to the counter to pay, I asked if they could hold my check for a couple days because the money didnt transfer to my account quite yet. They let me take my retainers home and I paid them two days later without a call questioning me or asking when I was going to pay. Im glad they trust their patient's intergrity!

We are really good about getting in every six months for cleanings, so we see them at least twice a year. I had an emergency procedure done at one point and most recently a couple of poorly seated crowns replaced. Dr. P and his staff are so polite, gentle and patient! During the procedure, I had an asthma attack that scared me a bit, but they were super fast to take care of me, grabbing my inhaler out of my purse and gave me some time to recouperate before getting after it again. They do their best to make an uncomfortable experience as pleasant as possible... Netflix, Hulu, Disney+... heated massage chairs... weighted blankets... it's pretty darn comfortable! Brenna has been my hygienist this year and I wouldn't trade her!! She's ridiculously sweet and so very gentle! Before you know it, you're done and ready to go! When we booked appointments for next summer, I reiterated to her that I wanted to be with her. I'm big on the relationships built with my healthcare providers. I know some don't care, my husband is good with anyone in the office and in reality, I'm okay with it too; but I really like having someone to look forward to seeing every six months!

Their waiting area is bright, open, and clean. But also includes lots to keep the kiddos occupied. Their entire office is covered in glass windows that allow you to see the beautiful Anchorage back drop whenever you wish. I have taken my neurodivergent kids to Alaska Dentistry a few times now. We are always welcomed, kept in the loop, and dental services performed are thorough yet fast. Recently, I made an appt for all (3) of my kids to be seen at the same time, and we were in and out in less than an hour. We SO appreciate that. One of my kids has high support needs and is non-verbal. I love how both the dental assistants and doctors are able to work with and around this. Keeping everyone comfortable but also informed. Dr. Copeland has a great sense of humor and he's great at what he does. His protege Dr. Cody is thee best! Dental assistants: Ryan, Felix and Gerianne are phenomenal. Alaska Dentistry is a bit of an all-inclusive. They do sedations here (our next experience), and even Invisalign! Highly recommend!

Even though his dental assistant mentioned during the appointment she WOULD have pain and to treat with ibuprofen or tylenol. Then at her second appointment "Dr". Coplin told her he didn't need her "attitude" because she was expressing where her obvious pain was when he asked. She was crying and ended up leaving. Learn to treat your patients with respect and trust that when they say they're in pain, they are. What reason do you think a 12 year old had to lie about her mouth being in pain?? Disgusting behavior. While we highly praised and recommended you guys before this, we will never think to do so again. For a place specializing in child care, this is no place to bring your child.
