After 30 years of wear and tear, scuffing, bleach-spilling, piano-scratching, hand-sanding, mopping, etc., we have what looks like a whole new floor. I was extremely cost-conscious, so I got quotes from at least 3 other companies. Sam Floor Sanding gave me the best price, which was $500 less than the highest bid! Amazing. They are efficient, don't leave a mess, and are extremely polite. You'll have to get someone else to move your furniture, but at the affordable price they charge, you'll have extra money to have someone else do it. They gave my Mom's home a whole new look with that new floor. Now, I'll work around their quality to make the rest of the house match it! I'll post the photos once everything dries!

I called Dung at 6pm at night not expecting much especially considering I'd had such poor experiences with other contractors. Well, I was really surprised. He was extremely communicative and we set up an appointment to get an estimate. He and his team showed up to that appointment on time and were very kind, respectful, and knowledgable. They were able to give me an estimate during the visit itself, and that estimate was spot on (and wayyyy more reasonable than either of the other two contractors we'd worked with). Actually, they finished a day and a half early!!!!!! 4 rooms took them only a day and half to do, and the job they did is a quality job. They even cleaned up afterwards. But best of all, Dung was consistently communicative over text and answered any questions I had really quickly. Also, they SHOWED UP ON TIME. That is so rare. Keep up the great work, Sam Floor! Connie spent the time necessary with my wife/designer to understand the color scheme and help select a couple remnants that might work. Other shops were only interested in selling a much larger minimum quantity. There is a good reason for that of course, because once the shop cuts a piece they are stuck with the left over. The difference Mark and Connie made was willingness to take the time for a smaller order and cull through their remnents. We were lucky in that there was a really great peice available. It wasn't what we started looking for but that is where the time Connie put in to understand the color scheme paid off; the piece available works perfectly with the natural custom ash cabinets and the tile we selected. Mark and Connie communicated all throught the process. Of course everyone wants to be first in line. Mark and Connie kept to all of their appointments and didn't slip any dates. At the end, the install went without a hitch, and the vanity top came out fantastic. Not only are Mark and Connie a delight to interact and work with, we feel like we got top notch service and an excellant value.
