Well, he told me none of my vents were screened, told me all the covers on my less than year old home were plastic. Fortunately I had my home inspection for my 1-yr warranty the following week so I decided to wait to see what the inspector said so I could have the builder cure anything possible. Absolutely zero evidence of anything having been in my attic, zero entry points. Inspector confirmed the covers on the vents are metal and not plastic and that every single vent is already screened. I'm not sure what the guy from A-Tex saw but I trust my inspector more. Just to be safe I had another estimate from a pest company done and they confirmed what my inspector said. Very disappointed and confused about what feels now like a scare tactic with this company. I've never experienced a critter situation before so I felt trusting but now I know to get a second opinion for stuff like this always. I'm sure they help people but my personal experience will keep me from considering them again in the future.

They…read morewere quick, at one point it was going to rain mid-way through the install so they pulled out all the stops and they got my roof done ahead of schedule before it rained. Since then the roof has held up great! Last week I started seeing a leak on the outside of my house. I called them up and the owner sent someone out the same day just to rule anything out. When they came out we both agreed that it didn't look like there was anything wrong with the roof, but that didn't stop them for doing their best to stop it from leaking they added some caulking around some holes in the stucco and masonry and fixed up some of the flashing near the leak. After that, it was still leaking, but Brad, the owner, was kind enough to come out again, even though it had NOTHING to do with the roof just to double-check on me and make sure that I was doing well. At the end of the day, they took off a side gutter and found a hole in the wall that the builders had left from when the house was built. Again, STILL not roof related, but they treated me like family and helped me as if it were and fixed it up for me. Literally cannot say enough good things about WDR! I've never found a company that is this helpful or this responsive.

My house inspector, Todd Arnold re-walked my roof and confirmed my suspicion that the roof needed to be replaced due to some severe storms. I got several bids. With the exception of Gillmeister Roofing, all of the other contractors indicated it would be a 4-6 month wait for shingles. (I wanted Class 4, 30-year OC Weatherguard HP shingles to withstand heat and wind). The Gillmeisters hopped right on ordering the shingles with a prepayment by me. The shingles were received and installed in four weeks from the placement of the order. Wahoooo! While waiting for the shingles to come in, two more high-wind storms passed through, and shingles went flying. Kyle Gillmeister came out and replaced 20 shingles on my roof, to hold me until the new roof could be installed. That was above and beyond. * The crew, led by Hector, came in, did a great job with the removal, sheathing prep, and new shingle install. It was pristine when they were done - it was as if they had never been there.
