08/10/2024 Just saw sons truck "detailed" by a "best of Omaha" business(must've been 61 friends & fam votes)This job cost close to $500. The running boards are still dirty, the bugs are still stuck on front, the truck is not clean. TERRIBLE- REALLY TERRIBLE-SLACKY JOB DONE. We know it, The owner definitely knows it, anyone seeing it will notice nothing looking any different than a wash in your own front yard! Shame on this place, you're blatantly ripping people off- and then want to be aggressive when called out on your terrible workmanship. To pull your "this (fxxxxx) President has the economy in such a bad place" comment shows you had no legitimate excuse for the non detail you did. Politics have nothing to do with you not doing the job you were paid to do- cussing customers out doesn't help your case much either. I wish instead of just looking at your cover photo from 4 years ago, and just thumbing a few front page reviews that my family would've seen all reviews by pressing "lowest" in choices. This is not the first and I'm sure not the last of the negative experiences for customers or the negative reviews for you. There may have been a time years ago that you actually cared about your business..that time has obviously passed.Gave 1 star just because you have to give one to add a review. *If you're looking for a trustworthy, worth the price, detail job..Hometown Detailing LLC. in Omaha, Ne. is not the place.

Overpriced for marginal exterior cleaning. Nice people but we picked up car and wheels were super dirty. The pictures are after we asked them about it and they cleaned them while we waited. Save your $150 bucks! The interior looks good but was not nearly as bad as these before pictures posted.

Here is the damage that Hometown Detailing did to my car !

My husband took my 2011 Acura to Hometown detailing for a birthday gift. We asked to have a touch up on the rear fender wheel. The company ordered the wrong paint and then tried to sand it off. They got running paint and sandpaper marks on the inside and outside of my car. I got and estimated to fix it and the owner Brian won't even look at it. If you love your car DONT EVER USE Hometown. They are the worst !The Owner still won't look at the damage his employee did!

My wife's car was completely full of dog hair on seats and floor boards (which really bothers me, lol).

The car is still sound and I use it to travel for work. I checked here on Yelp and to my surprise I found Z-MAN. A quick call and he said he could squeeze me in. His location is no longer on Pacific and he walked me through the directions to his new place at 3555 Farnam. As promised, he quickly went to work on the old faded and barely functioning headlight lenses. In less than an hour my headlights were clear and shining like new. I highly recommend Mark and his services. It is very obvious that he takes pride in his work and is a man of his word. I will add his prices were beyond fair and I'd gladly return again. As a veteran myself, I will go out of my way to support any veteran and their business. Go see Mark. You will glad that you did.

This guy would be out of business in Los Angeles/Orange County…read more Completely overrated service. We inherited an old car, so we decided to get it detailed before selling it. 1) Address on website and Google shows this place listed at 78th and Pacific. Come to find out it's 35th & Farnam. He never bothered to disclose that his place is inside a garage where you have to be buzzed in. 2) Extremely overpriced for the quality of service. I regret not cleaning the car myself. Mat cleaning was poor. Left a new oil mark in the driver's side mat (also left us his rag). Back window cleaning was no better than Speeder's. Didn't even bother to remove residue left from oil change sticker on upper corner of windshield. Car still had streaks on the exterior of car. This was NOT a $250 detail (guy had nerve to say it was normally $350). 3) Apparently this guy doesn't need or want new business. He doesn't bother to pay attention to customer's name or remember the service they requested when booking an appointment. Straight clown act. Should I refer to you as "Douche?" Put some effort into people skills and customer service. 4) Never mentioned that he charges a 10% SURCHARGE for credit cards. Can't find this important information anywhere on this Yelp page nor on his website. WHAT BUSINESS CHARGES A 10% SURCHARGE WHEN PAYING WITH A CREDIT CARD?! Per federal law, there's a 4% maximum allowable surcharge on credit card transactions. Businesses must also inform customers about the surcharge before the transaction. Evidently, Z-Man is not aware that his hidden policy is illegal. Even the government doesn't charge more than 3%. Mr. Zamora tried to say he disclosed this on the phone, but he didn't. We wouldn't have used him had we been informed of a 10% surcharge. The smoke is strong with this one. This detailer is a joke. He doesn't know that I work for one of the world's largest motorsports companies. He would be clowned if he tried this elsewhere, especially with my company. I'm tempted to pay for advertising to promote his competitors just to take any/all business away from him. I think it is fairly obvious that I regret not taking this car to another detailer. Omaha has really low standards if it believes this is a 5-star detailer. Clearly, the bar isn't that high here.

Services: window tint, paint correction and ceramic coating on black truck…read more Carlos, the owner, is a good guy. Returned phone calls and text messages promptly. Seemed knowledgeable on window tinting and paint correction. Window tinting seemed to be done well. No issues, but will update review if that changes. Paint correction and ceramic coating was a different story. While discussing window tinting, we were convinced to let them correct the paint and do a ceramic top coat for a reasonable price (red flag 1). The black truck, like most black vehicles, had some scratches from car washes and neglect, but we were assured those would disappear with clay, cutting, and polishing. There were a few deeper scratches that would not be correctable, and we understood. There were also a few rock chips that would be touched up. We picked up the finished truck in the evening in low light. It looked fantastic. The areas that needed to be touched up were not done (red flag 2). However, the shop explained that they didn't think it would look good so they skipped it. With the rest of the truck looking great, I excepted the explanation. I was so impressed that I tipped an extra $100. We arrived home and parked the truck in the garage. Instant regret. Our garage is very well lit and the spider webs and scratches were very apparent. To be honest, it seemed worse than when we took it in. I sent the shop pictures and they responded with a request to bring it back in the morning. Sunrise proved to be even more disappointing. In daylight, the full result was evident. Scratches, maring, and haze were everywhere. Before heading back to the shop, I stopped at a well respected Auto Spa for a professional second option (should have just used them in the first place). Their response: "this was a hack job". The paint correction was subpar and the ceramic coating seemed to be low quality. They didn't see the truck before it was done, but suggested that the scratches were introduced by someone that does not know how to use a buffer. The pro can correct the failed correction. In other words, even if they did not introduce the scratches, they should have been removed by a standard paint correction process if it was done right. Carlos offed to fix the issue with wet sanding. Given the previous result, there was no way I would trust an even more aggressive correction. In their defense, he did refund my money and mentioned that this was not up to his usual standards. However, I am still left with a mess. In his words, "it might be scratched but at least it is shinny". Long story short, Carlos seems to be a good guy. I feel bad posting this review, but it's honest. Looking back, I should have been concerned when he could not tell me what ceramic product he used but that he got it from Amazon (red flag 3). Pictures attached. However, trying to get pictures of black car in sunlight is nearly impossible. The rest of the truck is as bad as the hood. PS- there are other reviews on here for black cars. Read them.
