They even had a basement area filled with comic books to purchase in bulk and video games to play. All in all, if you are looking for a specific comic book, manga merch, anime merch, Funko Pops and the like to add to your collection, this store is a must visit.

A group of our friends are planning on getting together at least one Friday a month to play the Wheel of Time RPG. And he suckered me into joining. So he insisted that I pick out my own dice, rolling tray (the non-herbal kind), and a bag to hold the dice. The Society was founded in March 1932 and is the oldest exclusively model railroad club in the United States. They maintain 2,500 square feet of model railroad displays of steam and diesel freight and passenger trains and trolleys, plus so much more. It was fun to see all the parts of the display - it really gives you a glimpse into the history of railroading. It is not easy to find, as the doorway is tucked into the left front center of the building and the society is located on the third floor with no elevator. The display is normally open on the second Sunday of each month, except May.

Once parked at the double tree, simply walk to the left of the building, you'll see a sign for events meeting place and a sign for a radio station, go past the station for the 2nd door and you'll find a set of stairs. Once you go up the stairs, walk down the hall and it should be the first door on the right. Suite #215 The reason for my visit was to get a second opinion on my uncle's stamps. I received them about 20 years ago and they'd been sitting in bags in storage ever since. Trying to navigate eBay with coins or stamps is a whole nother ballpark and figured I should go to the best! As expected, the collection isn't really worth more than $25 for about the 2700 ish cancelled stamps. But it was nice to have Phil recognize that I was the one that called, treat the album well, and give me an honest answer. While I was at the shop, I believe his son, Victor walked in and apologized in regards to the album being of low value. We also had a great conversation on other collectibles, such as Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic, Sports cards, video games and the like. I've been searching for ages for a shop or at least someone willing to allow me to bring in the 3-4 monster boxes of sports cards I have. I got a firm "bring them in, we'll take a look". Today's venture wasn't just about getting an appraisal for my stamps, it was more about, where can I go for future guidance with collectibles. Compared to my recent visit with Maryland Stamps and Coins (Bethesda), Geezer's Tweezers is absolutely what I was looking for. The post office wouldn't take it. I had to call the store and tell them they would have to sent a box. The post office here did this to me once before with sending a card that was pop up style and they told me it was too thick to be in an envelope. I had to spend $12 to $13 to send it out. It was more expensive than the card in it. After contacting the stole while I was at the post office we came to an agreement and they let me keep the cards.
