There is a tabletop gaming store that is as large as a grocery store. It exists! It's a true…read morewonderland for nerds and gamers, and noobies like me. None of the gamer stores we visited in Baltimore County can hold a candle to this place. Pay the toll and get your butt over to Ritchie Highway. You'll want to burst into tears of joy when you set foot into the store. I was under the impression that it was difficult to own/run a game store, or thats what the owners of those little shops would have me believe. But this place had loads of customers, and a bunch of other regulars in a side room used for gathering for in person play. Jeremy got his wish. A group of our friends are planning on getting together at least one Friday a month to play the Wheel of Time RPG. And he suckered me into joining. So he insisted that I pick out my own dice, rolling tray (the non-herbal kind), and a bag to hold the dice. He got some stickers and other stuff, too, cuz he's just so very into embracing the tabletop rpg gamer lifestyle. We joined the rewards program, so we'll obviously be back.

Staff were rude about it as well. No one game or event is good enough to lock everyone else out of the store. Staff were unpleasant and rude. Do not give them your time or money, let them wither and die for abusing the very people who pay their bills.

I called the shop earlier in the day and spoke to Phil, he gave me a great initial impression, very friendly and told me they're on the 2nd floor of the quadrant and can be a bit difficult to find. He also advised a flood had occurred, they're still open and operational, but if the hallways look weird, don't be alarmed. Lol I highly recommend doing a quick Google search on the map to see the general idea of where to go. Once parked at the double tree, simply walk to the left of the building, you'll see a sign for events meeting place and a sign for a radio station, go past the station for the 2nd door and you'll find a set of stairs. Once you go up the stairs, walk down the hall and it should be the first door on the right. Suite #215 The reason for my visit was to get a second opinion on my uncle's stamps. I received them about 20 years ago and they'd been sitting in bags in storage ever since. Trying to navigate eBay with coins or stamps is a whole nother ballpark and figured I should go to the best! As expected, the collection isn't really worth more than $25 for about the 2700 ish cancelled stamps. But it was nice to have Phil recognize that I was the one that called, treat the album well, and give me an honest answer. While I was at the shop, I believe his son, Victor walked in and apologized in regards to the album being of low value. We also had a great conversation on other collectibles, such as Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic, Sports cards, video games and the like. I've been searching for ages for a shop or at least someone willing to allow me to bring in the 3-4 monster boxes of sports cards I have. I got a firm "bring them in, we'll take a look". Today's venture wasn't just about getting an appraisal for my stamps, it was more about, where can I go for future guidance with collectibles. Compared to my recent visit with Maryland Stamps and Coins (Bethesda), Geezer's Tweezers is absolutely what I was looking for. I 1000% recommend this business and will be looking forward to my next visit! Thank you so much Phil and Victor for the pleasant experience!
