Before we could correct the issue (give them our new/current address), they hired an attorney, placed a lien on our property, and changed us an additional $600 in fees. A $500 HOA payment turned into a nearly $1200 payment we've been paying on for a year. They did allow us to pay by the month, however. I simply wish they had looked us up online and mailed out dues bill to our proper address before hiring a lawyer and claiming part of our property (and more than doubling the money we owed them). The owner of the agency was very, very rude about this as well.

They accept your $50 deposit as if they actually have units available. I call this fraud! Theft! And Dishonesty! Then they tell you that they have a waiting list. I would have never paid a $50 deposit based on a waiting list. The apartment claimed that they were issuing me and my daughter a refund! But, we have yet to receive the refund.
