I've seen a few doctors at MFCC of AV and am very impressed. They are skilled, compassionate and affordable, even without insurance. Several take medicaid. They are not always accessible, and perhaps not a first choice for crisis interventions, but if you can work with them for 10 sessions or more on their schedule, your mental state and quality of life will surely improve. You will learn about yourself and take control. Don't think your problems are hopeless - get help. It's nothing to be ashamed of.

I was afraid he was slipping into a depression. He is highly resistant to traditional therapy but I thought he might be more accepting of hypnotherapy and I have definitely seen some improvement in his emotional health. Dr Vicky spent a long time with us, going over all the things that might be bothering him. She spent time with us together and with just him. What we concluded would help most is if he can get a decent night's sleep, as he has always had trouble sleeping, even as a baby. She allowed me to sit in on the hypnosis session as well so I actually got to experience what she is doing for my son. I can't believe how relaxing the process was! She gave him a cd of the session to listen to when he has trouble sleeping. What impressed me most is how much Dr Vicky genuinely cares. She told me I have a great, very normal kid. She has contacted me just to find out how he is doing, not to try to get us to come for more sessions, unless we feel he needs it, but just because she wants to know he's doing ok.

They make you feel comfortable and they are very friendly. Sophie worked with me mostly and she was very knowledgeable and she listened well. Gabby and her staff work very hard to help their clients heal up. I looked forward to seeing them twice a week during my time there.
