Ranch Wellness Center is an excellent physical therapy facility! I had a total knee replacement surgery and I needed a lot of help getting my range of motion and my strength back. They are caring and kind to their clients. The facility is clean and organized. The staff is awesome! Beginning with the appointment all the way to the care. They make you feel comfortable and they are very friendly. Sophie worked with me mostly and she was very knowledgeable and she listened well. Gabby and her staff work very hard to help their clients heal up. I looked forward to seeing them twice a week during my time there. First let me start by saying places (ALL PLACES) needs to have some type of provisions for widow single parents to be able to bring minor kids along to appointments. When I called to make my appointment I made sure I could bring my son, they said yes. So I get to my appointment only to be told AFTER I checked in that he wasn't allowed. I told them I was told he could come since I was not only a single parent but a widow so I couldn't just drop him off at his dads house like most divorced parents. They said let me check. Marcelo the manager told me they dont provide babysitters. He was not sympathetic or empathetic at all. The manager then ATTEMPTED to say " well me and my wife make it work". I can not believe he said that to me. So I told him there is no way you can compare YOU AND YOUR WIFE getting a babysitter to my situation. read more

I just finished 12 weeks of physical therapy here after a full knee replacement surgery (Feb 16, 2023 surgery, last session today, May 23rd, 2023). This place felt good from the first time I shuffled in here with my walker and met the front desk gals and then started with my therapists: Gabriela, Connie, and Travis. The place looks so clean and organized, and a nice western decor - so it's not a bland medical office feel. Staff is always kind and supportive through the entire process, even though I was a whining, crying client sometimes because you have good days and bad days through the first 8 weeks after a major surgery. Sometimes, you're tired and discouraged, yet they encouraged me that each week they could see my improvements - so keep up my exercises at home. They gave me handouts and clearly explained them and showed me how to do those exercises - and what benefit and to which muscles when I kept up exercising in between visits to Rancho. Today is my "graduation day"! I'm done, and I WILL keep exercising using their customized selection of exercise handouts. Connie explained how to manage my expectations of my "new" knee through the upcoming year. I can always call Rancho if I have follow-up questions, and they will get back to me between or after their sessions. Hello to ALL: I just want to take a moment to express my experience here at Rancho Wellness. I was a recovering patient from an arthroscopic surgery on my rotator cuff. My doctor and my health plan had recommended Rancho Wellness for my physical therapy. Scheduling was tough at first because of covid related issues which held our appointments for a couple of days- but of course it was understandable as everyone else here in the Antelope Valley were dealing with the same issues. Slowly but surely our schedules became more regular and I was only seen by one other therapist and the rest were smooth. Many if not all the staff here were all professionals, courteous, helpful and friendly. My therapist was the best, Connie!! She had me working on things I needed the most but without forcing me to do anything. She went through the detailed routines and even helped me take notes so I can work on it on my own and she was always most patient with me, detailing every exercises that made me want to work on all of it each time I leave their office. If anyone ever visits here for therapy and you get assigned with Connie, you're going to get the best care! She will keep you motivated and she will help you go through the sessions with a great feeling that you are being cared for with professional guidance and care. Gabby, whom I first saw at this office when I was really broken helped me out right away. Immediately she could tell something wasn't right with my posture. She began by having me do simple things then had me in a position for 15 seconds and right away my posture became upright and my hidden pain went away- the pain on my neck was not there anymore. She also showed me exercises and positions to hold whenever I wanted to alleviate pain and it has always worked. I don't believe that I took anymore Tylenol or Advil after that session which was so fantastic. If anyone is sincerely serious about getting better from physical therapy, I recommend this place 1000%. read more

They don't even deserve 1 star. This place is a mess! If you get referred here please RUN the other way. I was referred by my doctor and was scheduled 3 weeks out. First of all anyone in pain does not want to wait this long for treatment. Then when I show up for my appointment, they said they didn't have me scheduled. Really?? I spoke to someone and they asked me a few questions and I confirmed the day and time of my appointment. They say I have to reschedule. Okay, but wait you can't do right then & there. They tell to call to reschedule!! I could see if there's too many people in the office, but no, just me and the receptionist. I highly recommend the wellness Center. Since I began my physical therapy I have been satisfied with my treatment. The staff are friendly, respectful and welcoming. The clinical Director is very gentle and with a wonderful healing energy. I had an appointment today to start pool therapy. Due to healed skin cancer they denied me attending. I called to set up an appointment to be evaluated for physical therapy and I was able to get in right away and they were kind understanding and courteous to my needs after having a hip replacement which resulted in my femur being fractured during surgery which turned into a broken leg! Their therapists are very knowledgeable and they have helped me tremendously over the past several weeks! The nurses/assistants that do the scheduling for appointments are top notch ladies who are very kind and helpful when it comes to needing special accommodations for times that fit into my schedule. I would NEVER recommend this place anyone. The staff are unprofessional, and disrespectful. They advertise they have a "Tranquil Healing Environment, with a Kind and caring Staff." I found none of that to be true. First, I was told to be in the office at 9:45 am. While paying my co-pay I was told the Therapist was running 10 minutes behind and I have to stand outside until my appointment, which was at 10:00 am. I told the clerk that I have a problem standing and I had been dropped off (I had no car to sit in and wait). I had to plead with the clerk to stay in the office until my wife could return with my car. Second, when my wife got back, "Kind and Caring Staff," decided it was her fault for leaving me there and they would REFUSE SERVICE TO ME. read more

My left shoulder needs surgery due to torn ligaments and tendons as a result of heavy construction and extreme sports throughout my life. I am now 56 and do not want another surgery at this time, so I asked these guys for help. After just a few short weeks, Axle as well as the others taught me how to properly exercise and condition my body to work with my injury which in result postpone my surgery. I'm now back to my activities with just a small amount of pain, basically a reminder that the damage still exists . And now , I do not see surgery needed in the next several years now that I know what these guys are capable of, I will definitely see them first !! Thanks again you guys!! read more

Horrible, horrible service. I went to schedule an appointment and they told me that their closest appointment was three weeks away. I decided to wait that long because my doctor recommended them. After waiting for three weeks, I called to confirm my appointment the day before. When I called, the lady told me she had to cancel my appointment because there was something wrong with my prescription and they couldn't get hold of the doctor to fix it. I said to her, "You had three weeks to talk to the doctor and you waited until the last minute to take care of the problem???" I waited all this time with pain so they could just cancel my appointment at the last minute. I cried in anger and frustration. I was so upset with myself for choosing this place. They are rude, and do not inform people of needing a mask, no matter how far they have driven for an apt, when asked for a mask they say we do not have any, you will need to go buy one or we can't see you. After hearing this I called to speak to the manager Mario who was extremely RUDE and said you were told when you scheduled which is not at all the truth! I waited 2 months to get an apt for neck and back pain. My med group approved the apt for "therapy". I finally go in and leave with a sheet of paper with "neck exercises" that included none other than two exercises, which amounted to flexing my neck a few times; one up and down, and the other one from side to side. I'd call that a stretch, and unnecessary visit. They take a long dictation on stuff they supposedly already have so they can charge your insurance co. for time spent with you. Gabriella was judgemental and loud, stating You have bad posture. I can see that and my x-ray report was "nothing"( "minimal;) stated I was just tense, but refused massage therapy, cause "your insurance doesn't cover that". I came in only to get ridiculed and she even raised her voice when I interupted her with a question concerning if there were any exercises I should not do. "No!, and don't interupt me!", was her comment. If this is what they call therapy, I suggest you stay away, especially from Gabriella if you have a sensitive bone in your body. Mine was simple I was not a disability patient just wanted some pain relief all she kept saying was( to the typist) , she's "fully functional" over and over, like that was a disease. They got paid, thats all they want. The apt. did nothing for me. read more

Gabby diagnosed my calf tear quickly and the treatment she gave me with the recovery exercises helped me heal fast. It is so obvious how much Gabby cares for her patients. Horrible. 2 months waiting to get an evaluation after a stroke recovery. They turned me away for waking through the door at exactly my appointment time and not 15 min early. It took me 30 minutes to find parking and walk there in the condition I was in. I had to make another appointment but not there and then. They told me to go home and call them to make the appointment. Another month and a half for my next visit. I get there extra early this time and I have to wait 20min after my appointment time to see the person evaluating me. 1st few visits and I stopped going. The therapist seem to pull ideas out of the air on the few exercises he made me do. Half the time he made me walk, which is what I was doing at home anyway. I saw and felt no benefit from the visits. I get so much more out of the place I am going to now. I can feel the difference and wish I went here from the get go. I would be so much further along. I upsets me they made me waste so much time for nothing. No compassion whatsoever and the so called therapists don't seem to know what they are doing. Stay away! read more

After being lightheaded/off balance and having ringing in my ears for about 3 weeks and treated by Kaiser physicians (I don't recommend Kaiser to anyone... they couldn't find anything wrong with me with a slew of tests and time delays). I couldn't drive and be very active, so I fell into a bad depressive state because I was pretty useless, so I came out to the Antelope Valley to stay with family who could help/drive me around. By recommendation of family members, I went to see Gaby at Rancho Wellness just in case and she was able to see me pretty fast. She checked me and found an issue with a disc in my neck which was fixed with therapy. She gave me some simple homework exercises to do in between therapy sessions and she referred me to an AMAZING local physician who found the issue 10 minutes into my first visit (that the Kaiser docs had checked and didn't find anything wrong). My symptoms improved with treatments right away. After almost a month of being useless and not knowing what was wrong (that's the worst), I now know, my symptoms are improving and I'm on the mend! I'm very grateful and I highly recommend it. They're friendly and fast (almost no waiting for sessions). If you find a GREAT therapist, I recommend KEEPING them. Ranch Wellness and Gaby fall into this category. They're also bilingual (spanish) which is a big plus. read more

This place feels like they just want to get you in and out...30 minute sessions 10 of those minutes on the bike. Then the rest doing exercises they tell you to do without explaining anything. Plus the size of their gym is small, I had to move out of the way for someone to get by, which I felt interfered with the length of my sessions.
