Do not recommend this place at all. Was assigned to Mandy, self employed beauty therapist.There was…read moreno attention to detail with any treatment. Acrylic nails were never what I asked for, despite continually reiterating my preferences. They always broke off less than two weeks after application. Of course when I told Mandy this, I was told I should be booking in earlier to have my nails done. I got so upset about it as instead of the infills I originally had for a few months (also very unprofessional with drill used and no interest in shape or nail condition), I needed a new set of nails at each appointment. My nails got so bad that the comments I received about them were along the lines of "where are you getting your nails done, they look really thick and unprofessional, they're not nails you would ever want at all". Despite me reiterating the shape at each appointment booking and face to face, Mandy didn't ever shape my nails the shape I wanted, forgot the colours I asked for each time and shaped them into whatever she felt like on the day of my appointment. As for my eyebrows, I said from the beginning that I wanted hd eyebrows, and she said she didn't do the full hd "package" and that everything she did was "the same as what they all do with the same result. except the threading". Unfortunately, my eyebrows have never been shaped the way I asked and the tinting process was appalling. The tint was put on my eyebrows on top of eyebrow pencil (something I NEVER experienced at the previous salon I attended and it was also never permitted there). When I questioned Mandy about this she stated "yeah that'll give me a guide on your shape". I explained I didn't want that shape and she just laughed. The tint was then wiped off after 60 -120 seconds of application. At the last few appointments, My eyebrows and waxing sites were wiped with hard paper rather than soft cotton wool and/or cotton wipes. My skin was very Rex and inflamed after this. I was also appalled and disgusted that Mandy spoke derogatory of elderly people/clients stating she "hates old women with horrible feet and that she hates when they ask for their toenails done. Stating "then I need to look at and touch their crusty, horrible feet". Shocking behaviour and words of an older beauty therapist. Of any beauty therapist, oh any beauty therapist, With regards to the location, let's just say over the year I attended, a few of my hubcaps went missing from my car wheels and I had scratches on the bodywork of my car when I came out after my appointment. This was on the days I could get parked. It is in a horrible location. in addition, the owner Desiree and the other staff didn't even even acknowledge me, at all. As a salon and business owner, the first thing Desiree should've did was introduce herself and make new clients feel welcome and comfortable. Unfortunately that did not happen Ultimately I would never recommend to anyone I know, to attend Desiree's salon. Very unprofessional salon and very poor products. Very bad results and treatment.. horrible experiences here.
