While browsing in the kids' section, I noticed a woman, who later identified herself as the manager, following me around the store. After I moved to the back, she sat down and continued watching me for about 10 minutes while I shopped. I eventually approached her and asked if she was following or watching me. She said no. I then asked if she was the manager, and she confirmed that she was. When I asked for her name, she refused to provide it and told me I didn't need to know. As a Black college graduate, an English teacher, and a mother of three, I found this experience extremely upsetting and disrespectful. I was treated as if I were doing something wrong when I was simply shopping for my family. No customer should feel singled out or profiled in this way. I completed my purchase and left, but the entire situation left a lasting negative impression. I hope this location takes this seriously and addresses how customers are treated moving forward.

Named after one of my cats and an absolutely adorable little store that is very hard to drag Barbi out of. The reasons I can't get her out of the store is because she loves shopping and she loves little boutiques that have a lot of cute stuff, clothes especially, and this actually ended up being one of her favourite stores at the outlet mall, even though it's a little pricey and definitely isn't a chain as far as I know. I also have "sturdy" ankles and calves, so not having to size up in the foot to get boots or strappy shoes to fit without them gouging into my ankle flesh makes me extraordinarily happy! Styles range from vintage to retro, trendy to classic, edgy to laid-back. They have swimwear with cool vintage cuts, sweaters with hearts and skulls, party dresses, jeans, undergarments, Disney character clothing, printed leggings, fishnet stockings, accessories.... It's really all over the place, which also makes it a lot of fun to browse... The staff are really friendly and helpful, and their clearance deals are amazing (buy 1, get 2 pairs of shoes free? Yes, PLEASE!). They also have a free loyalty program if you like birthday discounts and such, so you might as well sign up for that while you're there. Web orders always mess up and are never right. Constantly covered in dust and hangers are always everywhere. Racks of clothing are left around the middle of the store, empty boxes, plastic wrapping from new freight everywhere, and it always seems that the store manager has "something to do in the back" for hours at a time. Sorry but Pearland is much better and organized. The management in Texas city is just poor.

I didn't get the name of the gentleman but he was extremely polite, professional and helpful. I will definitely be back for another pair. I believe the basic shoe polish is about $13. Not too bad. The heels had pretty much wore off even though I did not wear them often due to age most likely. The price was great and hard to put a price on something as sentimental as shoes I graduated high school in! Brought them in to the Houston Shoe Hospital and Tony was able to bring these babies back to life! Very happy with the quality of work and service. First time visiting a shoe store and I am now a customer for life if needing any shoe repairs! Highly recommend this location for any shoe or other leather needs!

I ordered 2 pair of shoes online for pickup. When I went to pick up the shoes, I noticed one pair…read morehas black marks on it -- it was a white pair of tennis shoes. The assistant manager, Makenna, was helping me. She proceeded to try and scratch the black marks off. She told me it was "fuzz" and suggested it was fine. Upon looking at them it was clear it wasn't fuzz and she had scratched the shoe. I asked if she could check the inventory to see if they had another pair I could swap them out for. She told me I could go and look myself. I asked for a refund for both pairs of shoes. She said she did it but said she couldn't give me a receipt for it. She stated it would come via email. The email never came. When I asked when I should expect the email or if there was anyway she could print me a paper reveipt she just stared at me. POOR customer service from the assistant manager and when she was asked questions she said "I don't know what you want me to do" or "I don't know" or "you'll just have to wait for the receipt". I ended up having to go through my credit card to ensure I was refunded my money. I'll certainly take my money elsewhere.
