Lots of patience to photograph the entire family including 4 rambunctious boys. Pictures to cherish a lifetime.

Cassidy DuHon is the real deal! I am in love with his photo journalistic style with a slight…read morevintage touch. Even more so, he is extremely easy to work with. I often crumble under pressure when I realize that a camera is on me but with Cassidy I found the entire process to be actually surprisingly fun! My wedding had many moving parts and a very strict deadline to deal with and he was able to handle all of our other vendors and family members with firmness and respect. Major props for that. Even more so, once the wedding festivities started he seemed to completely disappear into the scene so we barely noticed him at all! Kind of like a wedding fairy godfather, he was behind the scenes to make sure that we looked good but left us to our own devices after that. Bottom line: Beautiful photos, great personality, and able to handle the business/customer experience portion promptly and with a smile. My highest recommendations.

I never thought I'd need a professional photographer twice in two years, but both times I've called…read moreupon Cassidy to execute... and couldn't be happier. I first encountered Cassidy while we were trying to find a wedding photograph for our DC wedding. There was something about the aesthetic of his photos that caught our eye, and after we interviewed with Cassidy - it was an easy decision for my wife and I to go with him. Flash forward to the wedding day, we could not have been more satisfied with how comfortable and fun he made our wedding day (He also provided a good buffer between us and the "other vendors" that were making the day not so fun, sneaking us off location for some fun photos and allowing my wife and I a few moments to just enjoy the day). Now, flash forward two years later, as my consulting career was budding - I decided it was time to ditch the iPhone timer photos and get an actual professional photo done for profile photos and to accompany articles. I decided to give the best and most fun photographer a ring, not ever expecting I'd need "Head shots" and being intimidated by that a bit for little 'ol me. Another fun photoshoot later, a few different "looks" later and I had a contact sheet with too many favorites. Not a bad place to be. I couldn't be happier and will actually call upon him periodically to help keep my look fresh and current. If you want a great photographer, that makes a photoshoot fun, has a great eye and provides just enough "post processing" to give the photos an artistic feel, but not over processed looked - I'd give Cassidy a ring. Also if its your first shot or 20th, I think he'll capture what you're looking for.

You should be aware that the owner (Mary) is not the photographer. She has no knowledge of, or…read morecontrol over, the photographer's work. I cannot recommend this photographer. I paid $450 for professional photography for my daughter's first birthday, a once-in-a-lifetime celebration that cost over $7,000. I trusted this photographer to capture such a special occasion, but the final gallery was extremely disappointing. Many of the photos were taken from low, unflattering angles, had poor composition, or were unnecessarily repetitive. Several important moments were either missed or not captured well. What was even more disappointing was the response afterward. When I raised my concerns, the photographer claimed that the angles had been "edited to eye level." That explanation made little sense. While editing can adjust exposure, color, and cropping, it generally cannot change the original camera angle or perspective. A photo taken from a low angle cannot realistically be transformed into an eye-level shot through editing alone. The photographer also failed to avoid obvious reflections in people's eyeglasses. Can you imagine paying $450 for professional photos, only to receive images in which bright white glare obscures people's eyes and faces? Instead of acknowledging the problems or offering a reasonable solution, Mary, the owner, refused to take responsibility or provide a refund. This was my daughter's once-in-a-lifetime first birthday, and after spending over $7,000 on the celebration, I expected professional-quality photographs that would preserve those memories. Unfortunately, both the quality of the photographs and the customer service fell far below my expectations.
