Awful experience. The doors to the store were still locked when we arrived for our morning…read moreappointment. My husband, toddler, and I waited outside until a staff member casually strolled up smoking a cigarette and drinking Starbucks. She told us that we'd have to continue to wait until she "tried to contact the photographer" who was also late. When he did finally arrive he was aloof and at times unresponsive when we asked questions. He made himself busy with "taking care of paperwork" and organizing the coat closet while we waited in a tiny, dank closet area that was overflowing with trash. At this point our daughter was growing very impatient. That was when we demanded that the photo shoot begin immediately or we would just have to leave. The photo session itself was very mediocre. The photographer clearly didn't know how to work with children. We were offered several hideous backdrops, artificial poses, and a dirty old chair as a prop. When he was done, he told me "wait 20 minutes" and the pictures would be ready for viewing. 15 minutes later I asked the other staff member if we were close to being ready. She literally rolled her eyes at me and said "didn't we say 20 minutes?" To that I say, "Oh, so you mean an additional 20 minutes on top of the 15 I've already waited." When we finally saw the photos, they were amateur at best. And incredibly overpriced. Awful. Awful. Awful experience. I did call customer service to file a formal complaint. Will you believe that even the customer service rep on the phone was unresponsive? Ha! Take your money elsewhere. Or better yet - take a selfie. You're better off.

Jody has been a pleasure to work with. She's professional, polite, great with babies, patient...everything you would want in a photographer. Jody was incredibly helpful when we were searching for photographers. She provided us with a detailed overview of her business and what to expect with each session. She even allowed us to visit her home studio to look at her props and discuss the look/theme we were interested in. Working with newborns/infants can be challenging and unpredictable, but Jody is a pro at it. She sets up the studio and props in advance of the shoot, so no time is wasted when you arrive. For our shoots, she even purchased a few new outfits and props! After the shoot, she'll send a preview of a few finished photos in a few days, and all the pictures are provided in a couple of weeks. For our first two sessions, Jody even gave us a few more pictures than what was posted on her website! Overall, we have enjoyed working with Jody and look forward to completing the remaining 3 sessions.
