They've done a fine job of redesigning the interior. The food and coffee we had was good, and it got quite busy in there! You line up for your order / food and to pay - cafeteria style. Since I love cupcakes and had some time to kill, I decided to walk in. As I opened the door, I walked into a delicious, sweet smell of cupcakes. I reached the counter and saw the different cupcakes. After staring for a good 10 minutes, I decided on the strawberry daiquiri. The cake was soft with bits of strawberries. The frosting wasn't too sweet and went perfect with the cake. It was probably one of the best cupcakes I ever had. I was a bit disappointed that I had to limit myself to one cupcake (I've been eating since the cruise started). They did have a mini cupcake sampler set that had a lot of their flavors. It also looks like they do cakes too. It was a very cute shop with fun and adorable decoration. They carry vitamins, dietary supplements, fair trade organic coffee, teas, cheeses, chutneys, salsa, buckwheat flour, bread mixes, lentils, flaxseed, organic baking mixes, organic molasses, ceramic teapots, handcrafted goods, and much more. The back of the market houses a cozy gluten free bakery cafe counter offering fresh gluten free & organic baked goods (focaccia thin buns, cinnamon buns, muffins, cookies, cakes, breads), sandwiches, soups, salads, fair trade organic coffees espresso, lattes, and real fruit smoothies. The menu is gluten free and vegetarian with vegan and dairy free options. There's seating along the back window and outside covered patio seating in front of the market. Before heading out, we shared two gingerbread cookies (organic & gluten free) for our light snack. We decided to stop in at Mrs. Dunster's Kitchen Retail Store to check it out and to pick up some baked goods to bring home. The "not so fancy" bakery store sells donuts, nuggets, breads, rolls, cookies, cinnamon rolls, pies, decorated cakes, muffins, tea biscuits, and other treats. Most of the baked goods are packaged and ready to go. Hot coffee to go, breakfast sandwiches, sandwiches, pizza, and homemade soups are also sold here. We purchased a bag of Molasses Donuts, a bag of Butter Garlic Cheese Buns (10), and English Muffins - Cheese (6), which came out to just under $10. We ate some Donuts during the ride, which were soft and sweet tasting. The Garlic Cheese Buns (heated in toaster) were a very good accompaniment (contains lard) with our turkey dinners. The English Muffins-Cheese also tasted very good, but did not have the typical firm & chewy texture and had more of a breadlike texture. The packaged Mrs. Dunster's Donuts & Nuggets can also be found in stores throughout Atlantic Canada and in Maine (sold at Hannaford), not far from my home.
