We went in April 2012 and we had some coldish chicken with green
pepper in sweet and sour sauce and only 3 prawns with cold noodles, we
were not impressed. The only thing that redeemed it was the house
special fried rice which is a meal in itself and very good value, along
with a beef dish which was good. This is a shame as we had been in
2010 for a Christmas foursome accountancy dinner and had tons in the
Banquet for 4 persons and it was good and hot. So we vowed to not go
there again after this year, though recently on a night out on my own
in October 2012 ( quite rare these days) I decided to go in again and
stick to house fried rice, noodles with chicken and some fried
vegetables. The whole lot was very good and I came away feeling
really happy that they had done a good job and I had had a good feed.
Talked to owner who said Buffet resturants are affecting his business,
my main problem is that I don't lilke to complain about cold food and
rather suffer in silence which I know is not very good! So it gets a
new thumbs up from me but with the previso that if your food is cold,
ask for it to be re-heated ( I think some dishes are reheated from a
batch as above hence some dishes are cold)
Management could do well to
address these food temperature issues which marr a nice evening.
