I find myself in Wainwright for work semi-regularly and my co-workers and I always hit up the Honey Pot for dinner. The service is fantastic and friendly (just as you would expect in a small town) and just about everything we have tried on the menu is fantastic. Portions are large. Most of the dinner options come with fresh rolls to start, followed up soup/salad, followed up the actual item you ordered. So pace yourself and save room for your actual meal! Would I drive here from Edmonton just to get a meal? No - there are better places in the city. But if you're in the area for work/family/live there this should be your go to place. read more

Nice pub and restaurant in town. Has an outdoor patio. Pub feel with decor and tv screens. Had the spicy steak wrap $16.50. Had very little steak however and what was in it was very chewy so hard to eat in a wrap format. Blood dripping out of it. Was mostly veggies in the wrap. So only 3 stars for me. First things first, the chairs were more than comfortable. They were nice and soft but also allowed some air to get through so your buttocks didn't get moist. When you first sit down at your table you get a small bucket with some white dinner buns in it. Although these buns were slightly moist, they still were quite exquisite when you lathered some butter on them. Now onto the drinks. The best part was that they served Dr.Pepper, which felt quite moist on the tongue. They also could prepare a mean grasshopper and some moist martinis. Moving onto the food I can honestly tell you that the patty on the burger I ordered was properly moist. The boarding burger that I got had some moist veggies on it, including a tomato, pickle, and some lettuce. One other thing to include is that it had a moist sauce lathered on that the restaurant described as some "house sauce". If I had to describe the general atmosphere of the restaurant while I was eating in one word, I would choose moist. Overall, I think that this establishment is very moist, and that I would recommend it to anyone who isn't yet moist enough for their liking, and is looking for a very moist time. 10/10 would get extremely moist when dining at the Honey Pot again. read more
