Amazing atmosphere it just takes too long to get food. And the restaurant was not even that busy. Some days are better than others I guess.

Very disappointing. A few years ago I went to Rock Creek in Saskatoon and loved it. It was intimate, unique and the food was dynamic. Lloydminster's version is so not what I was expecting. The floor plan is terrible. Voices carry all throughout the restaurant. It may as well be a diner. I ordered the 12oz ribeye steak and added "jumbo" prawns for $6.00. For my $6.00 I got 4 tiny, very far from jumbo anything sized shrimps. My steak was over cooked as well. I didn't complain to the waitress because she seemed very rushed and passive. My wife also had a steak and about 3/4 of the way through it, she found a hair, to which we told the waitress about but nothing came from it. She was relatively clueless. The taste was average, the service lacked actual service and if I ever do go back to Rock Creek, it will be in Saskatoon, not Lloydminster. read more

A nice relaxing modern pub atmosphere. 40% off apps on Tuesday (who can beat that?). The tuna tartar is amazing! Lettuce wraps are good but a bit on the spicy side for me and the seafood linguine was ok but nothing to write home about. Servers are nice and come to check on you often. This is my first time at Rock Creek and it is fantastic. I had the Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich with fries and gravy. The sandwich was excellent, stacked with a substantial amount of meat and nicely grilled. It was garnished with deep fried pickles, a very nice touch. The side of hot mustard had just enough heat to be friendly to just about everyone and compliments the sandwich nicely. The fries and gravy were good as well. It was all served on a wood plank, another nice touch. Decore is very nice and the service is great. read more

I had high hopes for this place. It's in the same parking lot as Brown's Social House, and is also a chain, albeit a much smaller one. The beer selection is quite limited, and the several craft choices were dull choices adding little to the list that the mainstream choices didn't already offer. The food list is also similar - there's nothing of much interest there. A few gluten free options, a couple of vegetarian options, no vegan choices. We won't stop there again. We are in Lloyd for a hockey tourney and have eaten at Rock Creek 3 days in a row. Meals have all been awesome. The only thing better than the meals is the service we have had from Lacey who has been our server every time. Food great, service beyond great. Food was okay. Steak was really over cooked and the service wasn't that good. The waitress asked how the meal was and just walked away before anyone at the table even answered and then didn't come back for 20 mins and it wasn't busy. read more

This food is absolutely delicious!! I had linguini with seafood last night that I loved. Tonight I'm having ahi tuna salad and it is perfect! Have been to Rock Creek two times since it opened: 1 time dining at the restaurant and 1 time take-out. My first experience was OK but not great. Food was extremely slow, bar service was slow but the server was nice and made up for the delays. Food was good but not great but I assumed it would get better with more practice as the restaurant recently opened. My second experience was take-out which was terrible. Ordered a salad and received it without the spinach, kale and salad dressing. How do you prepare a salad and forget to add the greens?!?!?!?!?! read more

Very excited for new restaurant. Very nice decor and atmosphere. First time there had the prime rib sandwich. It was warmed up beef on a nice bun with good sauce. It had the taste of microwaved left over roast beef. Just gave it another try today. Had the blue cheese hamburger. The burger was just a cooked frozen burger. It looked and tasted exactly like those frozen burgers you buy from superstore. I don't think I will go back. How hard is it to make a fresh hamburger patty?
