I love how thorough they are at check in and the solid work in keeping our doggos healthy, clean and looking good. They are honest abut pricing and timelines. They have groomed a chihuahua, Lhasa apso, and a golden retriever. So all sizes and all dispositions, with amazing results. Mike was my most recent groomer. He groomed my service dog. I was worried about taking my dog to a new groomer. Mike put me right at ease. He is a compassionate, caring human and a phenomenal groomer. Use the app, and they will let you know when your pup is ready and you can pay online. Which is super helpful of you have any pet sitters or family helping out with dog care. I recommend this shop without reservation.

My dog is a HUSKY MIX which should never be shaved, yet there are some elusive "notes" that refer to him "usually" being cut with a 1 inch guard comb. Yet l have NEVER gotten him back shaven except from this horrible location. First time they only shaved his tail, because she was running out of time and it was "too matted", when I asked where the matted fur was she said she couldn't remember, ok whatever, annoying but not as much of a big deal. So for this time, I asked them not to shave his tail again so THEY SHAVED HIS WHOLE BODY EXCEPT FOR THE TAIL. I'm so angry I can't believe they would do this, even if they weren't sure, why not just call?! Aren't they supposed to be professionals that know better?! Wouldn't take a haircut for your pet from here even it was free!

In the scramble, Shug's food was left out of the packed luggage. We use a very specific brand (being the diva that she is), and we didn't want to just grab a random dog food that could potentially upset her stomach. After looking on the dog food's website, For Pet's Sake popped up as the only retailer in Dothan that carried our brand. Upon arrival, we started exploring the food shelves. We could not find it. The pet store we use in Birmingham is so incredibly accommodating, that other places are always compared to it. It took a little while longer of our aimless searching for someone to help us than our normal spot would have. They are always asking right out of the gate if there is anything they can help with (and love on our dog immediately). Once again, we are spoiled. Once we did talk to someone, they informed us that they can only special order our food. But they don't carry it in stock anymore. A little disappointed. But I blame the website more than the shop. My only other complaint is that their website didn't have regular hours on it. Still had July 4th hours posted without any indication as to what their normal hours are. Other than that, they have a great selection of treats. Especially their baked treats. Way more house made treats than I have seen in any other pet store BY FAR! We tested out a few for Shug and she absolutely loved them. We don't typically need a pet store out of town. But if I ever do in Dothan again, this will be where I head.

He…read morehas the nastiest attitude & demeanor with customers that I have witnessed in my 17 months living in the Dothan Alabama area. He embarrassed myself & my daughter by verbally attacking me because I had inquired about a battery that online showed as available and was not, I simply said "the website should be updated more frequently" I was inconvenienced by tractor supply not having what I was there to purchase, so I upgraded and purchased the more expensive battery. It was crystal clear Jacob had taken offense to my statement about updating the website, at checkout he ended up also being my cashier and was mumbling under his breath and I asked if their was an issue (I was not rude in my tone, not at this point ) he looked at me and said I refuse you service, I replied BULLSH*T, you absolutely will allow me to pay for my items!!! Now I'm disgruntled & refuse to take this male Karen's misplaced passive aggressive attitude! I told him to get his manager, he called her to the front, before she arrives he walks away from the register, she shows up and NEVER ask what the issue was, so I told her he had a nasty Unacceptable attitude, she stated she would chat with him, I explained I know customers can be difficult but this one is on them & their sales clerk... it may not mean anything to tractor supply that I've spent almost $1700 just this year alone of my money with their business, Tractor Supply states it considers me a Preferred Plus member... well I sure felt humiliated & disrespected. I expect to be treated with decency at bare minimum, it's just common courtesy. I have returned twice since 8/14/22 and did not encounter this "JACOB" hopefully Tractor Supply has terminated him. If on any of my visits he is present I will take my money down the road to Rural king. Any where we any of us spend our hard earned money we should demand to be treated with respect!

The place didn't smell like death as it did previously, and they cleaned and rearranged the whole store making it open and welcoming. The owner was super helpful and was happy to help me get the rat. I also called today to make sure they had some rats and a sweet lady answered the phone with kindness and was respectful ( not like the previous owners). Great job for cleaning the place up. I have visited several times while visiting my mom and dad. My service dog is on a special diet. I have asked them to try to locate his kibble or something like it, they may not have what he needs, but they find one close! I noticed however that they didn't delay immediately charging my credit card for the item. I responded to them by email that they're could either send the item immediately AND provide me with the reason for the delay, additionally criticizing them for not having an electronic perpetual inventory system so customers would know if they were sold out of items, or the must refund my credit card until the item was received by them and shipped. Voila, they then immediately advised me the item had been shipped. Still no explanation as to what the delay was or why. I have a FedEx tracking number so have confirmed it shipped the same day as my email exchanges. Poor communication Poor customer service protocols No perpetual inventory system It appears this is standard procedure for Jeffers to automatically send delay of shipment notices, as per the BBB and other reviews. I'll certainly not order from them in future.
