There were a number of people inside and we opted to eat in rather than getting take out. They have a neat system where you mark your choices on a piece of paper and then press a button on a control to call the server over. You press other buttons on the control when you want to pay or need something. I thought it was a pretty neat way to let you either speed through your meal or be a bit more casual. The menu was a bit confusing for me because it was only in Danish. Many of the items only had pictures rather than descriptions, and some items seemed to be the same yet were listed in different sections at different prices. I think that maybe they are expecting a clientele that knows the difference between different types of sushi, which I apparently do not. My friend and I each ordered a roll, and she got a beer while I got water. The sushi was good, although nothing spectacular. The reason for my poor review comes from the end of the meal when we paid the bill. I was charged 38 kroner for my water when I had specifically asked for tap water. I questioned this and was told that they "don't provide water for free." I was not told this when I ordered, and this is definitely not standard practice in Copenhagen -- I stayed for 11 days, and this was the only place that I had this experience. For comparison, a small beer cost 36 kroner, so the water was more expensive. All in all... I would say skip this place, or get takeout. It's alright if you're in the neighborhood and just need a quick meal, but don't go out of your way.

Glad we saw this hole-in-the-wall place with probably an indoor seating of less than 8. The numbered menu might seem a lot with columns of Pita, Durum, Berliner Kebab, Turkish Bridge, Pizza Sandwich and Kebab Ret (plate) with fillings of either Kebab (beef), Kylling (chicken), Falafel, Crispy Halloumi (Cyprus cheese) and Mix Kød (meat). I got the Mix Kød Pita while my wife ordered the Berliner Kebab which tasted the same except for the texture of the bread. Pita was softer while the Berliner was thick and crunchy. We washed these large servings with the Danish soda Fox Kondi. And that was our meal for that night. Very filling. My wife wasn't able to finish hers but I did mine and we were set for forty winks.

It's at the foot of the Inner Harbour Bridge between Nyhavn and Christianshavn. Fuego at Broens is an express version of their popular Argentinian restaurant at Holbergsgade 14. We just couldn't pass up their Pepito Steak Sandwich. It smelled so good as we passed by their outdoor grill. You can purchase half a sandwich, split a whole one, or just eat the whole sandwich. We chose to split one because we wanted to try other things around us. They also have choripan, empanadas, and a mixed grill platter. The service was quick & friendly. We received our sandwich in a good amount of time. We found bench seating in the shade near the bar. The Pepito was so tasty. The grilled Black Angus steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The chilli mayo and chimichurri sauce really elevates the sandwich. The baguette was fresh and amazing. It was a 10/10 flavor bomb. I'd totally go back for this again. Do not pass this one up when visiting this street food market.

No taste of curry paste, lime grass, kaffir lime leaves or any other classic Thai flavors.
