gave two different debit cards, a bank credit card and capital one card. all were declined. when I called the institutions, all charges were approved but immediately returned. wasted 20 minutes to find this info. I just wanted to let them know there was a problem with their machine. it took 3 calls to get to the manager. the clerks were rude and the manager was dismissive. wasted 10 minutes on that. Well, I'm gonna update my review. I'm very disappointed in the customer service. I order Chinese food today and was told that I have to pay first if my order is over $100 I normally order $130 worth of Chinese food to 140 I have a big family, but I will not be ordering from here anymore. I will not do business with people who don't respect their customers or trust their customers I suggest for everybody to start going to a different Chinese restaurant like the one in Port Carbon, or the one in Minersville these new owners, have no respect for anybody and we need to tell them that we're not gonna stand for it and boycott this place because without us they have no restaurant plus their prices and portions are outrageous now you pay so much money and get so little food now read more

I can't speak for the buffet since the buffet is no longer there since covid. Street parking only- 25 cents per 15 minutes. You can sit down and eat, order take out AND THEY DELIVER! They also have a website to view their menu which is nice. The people that work there are super friendly and accommodating. They can swap out items or make changes per request. As for the food- I like it. I feel like sometimes it can be a hit or miss depending on who cooks that day. I ordered the pepper chicken. First time I had it it was delicious! Flavorful, chicken was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside and it was topped with this garlic and pepper sauce. Second time I ordered it no sauce and the chicken was dry. It didn't even taste like it was the same menu option that I ordered the first time. Besides that the fried rice is always fresh and good. Love the chicken with broccoli and house special lo mein- and they do not skimp on the meat! I love their shrimp egg rolls too, although sometimes it can be drenched in oil and you have to pat it down with a paper towel. This place sucked. You pay before you eat, which is very strange. The lady was extremely rude and snarky about it too. The selection was LIMITED and almost half of the food trays were empty. Their fried food was good, hence the one star but everything else was greasy and disgusting. Service was awful, my soup cup had lipstick on it. You get what you pay for but honestly even 7 dollars for a place like this is too much. Between the rude service, shitty food, and dirty dishes - avoid this place and just get take out. One of the best Chinese take out places you could ever visit. The shrimp fried rice is extremely flavorful, packed with shrimp. No need to worry about shells in the rice. The pork fried rice is also extremely tasty. The shrimp lo mein was very also flavorful, and very reasonably priced. This establishment also has a buffet, but have not had that yet. The buffet does look very fresh and appetizing.and clean. Now if we can only find a place in the Northern Virginia area that is comparable. I ate here for the first time in December 2017. It was pleasant and I had no complaints. I even gave the restaurant a favorable review on Google. Yesterday, 11/19/2018, I went back for lunch at exactly 11am. The doors were locked. The open sign was not lit up. So here I stand in the rain after driving in from Schuylkill Haven pissed off. It looked like they're out of business. I was going to report it to Google Maps but I called them first. He said that they open the doors at 10:15 and that I must have tried the wrong door. Since Covid, they might as well have closed. Their Shanghai Shrimp rolls were the best I ever had; they no longer make them. I ordered simple snack items, vegetable loman, fried wontons and wonton soup. After one serving, the rest went in the trash. I ordered there because China II in Port Carbon is closed on Mondays and their Shanghai Shrimp rolls I would have put against Gordon Ramsey. Very nice, especially for an ethnic food in Pottsville. We were out shopping with another couple on a Friday evening, spotted this on the way through town and decided to give it a try. Very fast, very reasonable ($10 a person for buffet and all you can eat/drink). They kept the food trays replenished, nothing was dried out, and they cleared dirty plates fast. Minimal decor, but clean and functionally adequate. All the usual Chinese food selections with seafood on Friday (I don't know if they do that every night). Steamed dumplings with dipping sauce was worth a mention, as was the hot and sour soup. Most food on the bland side, but package sauces freely available. Soda and tea, all you can drink, a few dessert selections, some fruits and 8 kinds of ice cream complete the buffet. read more

There Was A Bug In Our Food. It was surely cooked in with it and when I called I was accused of allowing a bug to fly in it. It was not seen until opened. Order take out 2-3 times per month. I always used their delivery service but was disappointed a few months ago when they started charging a delivery fee. Now, I generally pick-up. The food is very good the majority of the time, have had a few orders that were subpar. The staff is very friendly and my order is usually ready and/or delivered quickly.
