But if you're like me, and like to update your old-school gaming collection, then Game City is your store. I was looking for copies of Goldeneye 64 and Banjo-Kazooie, and they had both. I mean, yeah, both were about $50 each (which is crazy considering games of today are $60-$70), but these games are REALLY hard to find and I've seen them go for even more. Okay, they did have an N64 with an Expansion Pak for $110, which was quite ridiculous to be honest. They even had an Intellivision (which is from the early 80's I believe) in perfect shape. Lord knows how much that would have cost. I wish I could list all the of classics I found at Game City, but I would probably break Yelp. But yeah, when it comes to more recent games, don't waste your time here. Just go to EB or BestBuy, and you'll probably get a better deal. If you're looking for the old-school and obscure, go right in! They also give cash or in-store credit for games and DVDs, which is great.

They have new and used games for modern systems as well, and there's also a modest selection of movies. I wouldn't say that the selection of games at this store is the greatest. It's certainly not as good as EB games, but Game City has reasonable prices, and the selection of vintage games makes this store worthwhile to check out. I've purchased quite a few used games here, and I've never had any problem with them. Even if the game doesn't work, you can bring it back. Oh, and you can sell your used games here too.

The way this store is organized makes it more suiting for those who have a good idea of what they are looking for, as most of their games are stored in cases or behind the counter. For those just browsing like I was, it is really hard to see what they have behind the counter, as there is a fair distance between you and the shelf. I did appreciate that they were alphabetically organized though! Many of their games also don't come in cases, so if you're curious about what the game is about, you have to look it up on your phone or ask the staff. The other inconvenience was that the games are not marked with prices, so again, you have to ask the employee each time which I found a little tedious. As for their game selection, there were very limited Pokemon and Zelda games, and no Fire Emblem games. That's obviously not a fault on their part, but if you have a particular game in mind, I would recommend calling ahead of time to see if they do have it available.

Now there is a down side; unless the game is rare they are all in these plastic tubs, and if you're a browser, it's rather disorganized. however if you're looking for something specific the guy behind the counter will tell you if he has it or not, and sometimes will even fish the desired item out.

I'm a regular here. I've always been pre-ordering so much that they have a shelf in the back…read morespecifically for me. The people are polite, at least since they've changed management a couple years back. I just wish that they would sell Amiibos regularly again and some vintage game stuff. One downside I will say is that when you order online you can't link your card up to get the savings compared to in-store. I think they have a lot of flaws with their online store.
