Eastern Ways easily exceeded our expectations. They were very organized and kept the kids' interest at all times. A group of energetic 10 year olds sitting at attention is an impressive feat. The party content was tailored to our son's interests and even included Kung Fu weapons forms demonstrations. The party room was decorated beautifully and the staff was attentive to the needs of the kids, as well as the parents. The pizza was purchased from a local supermarket but all the kids asked for seconds (I had thirds). Soda and water were the drink options. We brought cupcakes from home and they supplied the candles. They had a unique way of having the birthday boy blow out his candle. There were 5 staff members doing the demonstrations and tending to the guests. They checked with us before they did anything to make sure it was ok. We've had numerous birthday parties for our boy's and these folks are tops in service and courtesy. Each guest received a week of training as part of their goodie bag. Our son is already chomping at the bit to redeem his.

Perfect for women who can never out muscle a larger opponent, but instead need to rely on strategy to gain an advantage. At the intermediate level you start learning weapons and forms, but nothing is taught without a complimentary practical application soon to follow. It's a very versatile and wholistic system. If you're taking the online classes, Sifu Tav engages with you through the screen, makes personalized corrections, and has been building up a library of fantastic instructional videos that are easy to follow. Personal experience informs his teaching. What I appreciate most about him though is his commitment to raising his students' skill level. I studied several years with William Chen, a Grandmaster of Chen Man Ching's lineage and a remarkable teacher. I can vouch for the high quality of Craig's instruction.
