They came the same day which helped so that we could get hot water again. This is probably my fault for being an older, single, retired lady. However, I bought a Halo 5 Filter System from Honor Plumbing for $4,500.00. Unfortunately, no one at Honor plumbing has time to install it... (which now I understand will cost at least $1,000 more just for the installation kit.) I also asked for a bid to see how much it would cost for Honor Plumbing to fix my two toilets and two showers that are leaking. Austin came to my house and talked to me about the choices I could make in my bathrooms, but I told him I needed the job done in at least one of the bathrooms within two weeks. He wasn't sure he could finish it on time if I kept pushing for an acrylic or better quality bath and surround. He pushed for me to use an ABS surround and tub from Home Depot. I thought about it for a few hours and decided to go with Bath Fitter, since they could guarantee an acrylic bath and surround within two weeks. When I told Austin, he said I needed to pay him $1800.00 for the asbestos testing (because my house is also old) (that was okay), and $1400.00 for his "project management" for three days. No one had done any repairs in my bathrooms or even tried to find where the leaks were coming from. So overall, I have paid $ 7,700.00--which would be okay --except that after paying all that money, I still have two unusable showers, two unusable toilets, and a water filter that is not usable either. read more

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH HONOR PLUMBING'S LLC SERVICE We are extremely disappointed with the service Honor Plumbing LLC provided for our plumbing project. We really regret doing business with Honor Plumbing. The plumbing skills and the customer service rendered from Honor Plumbing has been the worst we have experienced and has been very costly. We have absolutely no confidence in Honor Plumbing and we will never use them again. ****** In Response to Honor Plumbing's Reply: Austin: I wish you were willing to talk when I called you the day after we discovered our drain pipe separated from our kitchen sink and flooded our newly refinished hardwood floors. Hence the start of a negative review. If you recall, I called you late Friday morning in an attempt to find a solution to our damaged floors. I left a long message stating the situation and a request to contact your insurance company. Then I waited for a return call but none came - not Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday of the new week. So once again I called you and left a similar message and again no response. It was not until I was advised by a DOPL (Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses) employee to send a clear and pointed text message that you finally responded back. Your response did not indicate a desire to discuss and resolve the problem. In fact the response I received indicated the warranty had expired and that because I did not follow your corrective solution, you were not responsible for the damage. So let me address your repair solution. The corrective solution you offered, strapping the loose drainpipe, had nothing to do with the sink drain pipe separation. The problem was the wrong strainer basket was used with the drain pipe. The threads on the basket were too shallow to properly grip the drainpipe nut to prevent separation. How do I know this? The plumber who I called (30yrs experience) to fix the separated drainpipe told me the loose pipe was not the issue. In fact he knew from my description of the problem, that the issue was the drain basket thread before he even arrived at our home. It took ten minutes to switch out the drain basket to a better basket and the problem was solved. The loose pipe has been secured but it had nothing to do with the pipe not being threaded correctly and coming loose. The plumber said he never uses the cheaper quality drain baskets and makes a habit of switching them out for better ones. He never leaves the job with inferior parts or the potential for leaks. That's experience and professionalism. In addition, your statement to my wife and myself when you evaluated our separated drainpipe the first time it disconnect was, "I've never seen anything like this before". You did not offer a repair solution, because you did not know how to fix the problem. If you had a solution, I would have had you fix our drain. It makes no sense to call a plumber for a leaking disconnected drainpipe that has rendered our sink inoperative and not have it fixed. So you left it in the original defective condition. Additionally, if you would like, I will send you an email with the seven other issues, we have not spoken of, that we experienced from the work you performed on our project. Lastly, nearly every person/company that has done work on our home has asked for an online review. I never got a request like that from you, even before we had a leak issue. Why is that? Could it be that you were aware of the less than quality work you provided (seven other issues not talked about) and did not want a negative review? I know we have learned a lot from this unfortunate event and it is our hope that you too will grow into a better plumber and businessman through negative experiences like this as well. read more

My overall experience with Honor plumbing & drain was not a positive one. Miscommunication, over billing and making the customer feel like they are not a priority was the overall issue. I was given a bid for X and after completion I received a bill for 70% over the original bid. When asking for an explanation I was told it was overage charges. When confronted about the overcharges he became combative and tried to blame the contractor. The job was a tub to shower conversion; when finally coming onsite after some mishaps with a cracked shower pan. I was told they didn't have the correct parts and due to prior scheduling conflicts, it would 2 to 3 weeks before they could return. I felt like I was no longer a priority. I also had to get my contractor to come in a cut an access hole for their convenience and brace a beam that was cut due to miscommunication. I have other work that needs to be done and will be looking for a different plumber, hopefully with a more positive experience. read more
