Work in or not no one should be talked to the way I was spoken to. Even as a work- in no one should have to wait an hour to be fit in. If you can't fit someone in then don't schedule them at a certain time, especially when I tell you I'm taking off work early to make the appointment because I was literally told 3 pm was the only time available. That's ridiculous, I've been "worked in" at other offices and clinics and my wait was at most 30 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous and a complete waste of time and money I could've kept earning instead of leaving early.

I hadn't been to the dentist is about 4 years when we moved from Virginia to South Carolina. I was…read morevery hesitant about going back to the dentist because I knew that I'd have to have deep scrapings done on all 4 quadrants and I have a very sensitive gag reflex, so taking those deadly bitewings X-rays are usually a challenge. I expressed my concerns to the folks and they were very accommodating. They patiently worked with me on the X-rays and the scrapings were completed in 2 sessions without the need for Novocain, just a gel that was used to numb the areas. A cavity was of course found which did require novocain, but Dr. Hammes was great with the needle and I was able to easily tolerate the injections. There were several problems with the insurance payments, but they were very patient while those problems were finally worked out. I would highly recommend Dr. Hammes and her staff.
