They removed the two next to it first and then slowly and carefully began to dismantle and dismember the remaining one. When they made the wedge cut and pulled the tree in the proper direction, it rolled beautifully down the side of the adjacent trees and made a perfect landing in the driveway, exactly where they wanted it, between the house and the woods. So they came out and cut his tree first thing in the morning, and while they were finishing up, grinding up his stomp. It came over to my house and did what I needed to be done. They left both houses like they hadn't been there. They did a real good job of that. We both were very pleased at what we saw at both houses. Then I was told that his crew would be out to take it down. He did ask for payment upfront and I had no issue paying this, did so via Venmo......the crew came out and took the tree down, old-school style. And let me explain that what entailed: A tree expert climbing to the top of the tree and lopping off branch by branch, trunk piece by trunk piece, while a crew of 2-3 guys had a rope and were balancing him AND the tree parts as they were being hacked off. It was fascinating to watch, tbh, and well worth the price.
