I made my way downstairs and sat at the bar. The staff was very friendly here-- they were not serving food at that time, it begins at 5PM but I had a few drinks and stuck up a conversation with some folks from Atlanta. I ultimately ordered plain quesadillas and fries (which were more like potato's wedges) the food was great, the service was great, and I'll definitely visit again before I return back home.

There are plenty of tables, TVs all around, and a large pool table for you to play with family. We watched the final game of the World Cup in here while on site and service was stellar. They also have a lunch buffet with burgers, hotdogs, queso and chips, and wings. This is a much nicer sports bar than most at a resort - so very impressive. My husband and his 22-year old son and his dad spent some quality time bonding here during our family trip and it was wonderful that it was here for them.

Essentially, this is a place for people who want an Americanized experience. Everything is Americanized. That's ok if that is what you want. If you want authentic Mexico you need to go elsewhere.

I took some notes and this is what I thought of the dishes. Xoajacan Imoladas - The mole is perfection. The flautas, superb. Everything in this plate is a symphony of what I would expect from Xoajaca. 9.5/10 Barbacoa Bonemarrow - Barcacoa is on point. The Marrow is Sublime. Together with the accompaniments is superb. I dream of Marrow everyday. This is a 10/10 Yellow fin Tosatadas - Superb!!! One of the best tostadas I have ever had. The microgreens, the sauce and the square Tostada works well all together. 8.8/10 Salmon - Cooked perfectly. The corn is a great accompaniment. The fish is impeccably seasoned. This dish is heaven sent with a 9.8/10 Grilled Octopus - Grilled perfectly, I can tell by the texture. The mash is superb, they used margarine instead of butter and I absolutely love the contrast from the traditional mash. 9.8/10 Mexican Rice - Its pretty good. It does have a nice seafoodish finish.
