The restaurant was a little chaotic as there 2 very large, 140 people they were not a part of. That said, the drinks were outstanding, staff and management attentive, and the food was delicious. The music was a great vibe and the mariachi band which came out twice was fun as well. If you like octopus, look no further other than my pic. We'll be back!

We came here with reservations about 40 min before sunset, and asked for a table outside on the water - it was completely breathtaking. So gorgeous. This place has the best sunsets and perfect al fresco vibe. Service was attentive and prompt. Everyone was super nice. We shared a salad, octopus, and yellowfin tuna, plus a couple different wines. The tuna was soft/tender; not at all stringy or chewy. The octopus was standout - super tender, perfectly cooked. We would come back in a heartbeat.

My wife, son, and I had a great experience eating here for the first time on our recent trip. From the moment we walked in the we were taken care of and the service was top notch. We sat outside near the water during sunset and the views were amazing. They have high chairs and a kid's menu for anyone with young kids. As an appetizer I ordered the cream corn soup after seeing some reviews about it. It was really good. The flavors were really unique and each bite had something different. Definitely recommend giving this a try. For my meal I went with the sea bass. It was cooked perfectly, with crisp and flavorful skin. The fish itself was so tender and delicious I was disappointed when I got to the end. One of the best dishes I've had in Cancun. We rarely get desert, but they serve their ice cream and churro deserts on mini food carts, which my son loved. We got the churros and loved them! Really cool desert ideas, especially for kids.

Food How refreshing it was to be able to eat off property of the an all-inclusive resort which typically consists of bland, unseasoned food. We were not disappointed with anything that we ordered and in our time in Cancún, we can back twice. Carrot tinga tostada Charbroiled cauliflower with green mole sauce Sizzling jumbo shrimp Mexican rice Churros Shrimp tacos All of this food listed above was delicious, fresh, and came in great quantities that my husband and I could share. Service Great service! Everyone was friendly, helpful and knew the menu. Ambiance Upscale without being pretentious. Welcoming vibe. Reminded me of being in paradise. The view of the water was beautiful to look at both day and night. We also got to experience some guys dressed up at luchadores who came out to music and passed our sparklers and danced with the guests- how fun and unexpected.

Really pretty spot to grab dinner with a group in Cancun. The architect and interior designer did a great job. Service was solid, and the food was good. I got bone marrow chalupas and it was solid, expected more bone marrow. My wife's pork belly torta was cooked well but needed a side sauce to be more flavorful. The calamari appetizer was my favorite. The steak appetizer had this sauce which tasted like soy sauce that I didn't enjoy. For drinks, I got the maracuya mango and it was fine. Dessert with the churros was awesome, perfectly crunchy and great to share. Service was on point. Honestly, the vibes and views were amazing, and food was solid. My only gripe is the cancellation fee for reservations. I think $50+ dollars pp for cancellation is ridiculous, especially if it wasn't a packed house. Glad we still went but felt that was too much.

Ambiance superb- overlooking the beach - breathtaking view. Staff attentive and friendly. Food - very pleasing to the eyes ! We had yellow fin tuna on a blue corn tostadas, mango tamarind salad - yum super tasty and fresh! For entree we had Oaxaca mole - a bit too sweet for my taste, abondigas meatballs a bit too salty. Dessert pan de elote with vanilla ice cream - nice finish.

We came here towards the end of our trip, it looked like a more upscale and fancier restaurant. So we wanted to splurge at least one night. They do have valet parking which is nice, it is right next to Harry's so you can easily drive to the wrong entrance if you're not paying attention. We did not have a reservation but was able to get a table on the outside near the water. Not sure if they are normally busier and we got lucky. It has a great view and the restaurant itself is beautiful. Now to the service, we were seated and introduced to 3 different people who were going to be serving us. It seemed like quite a lot of people for one table. They were constantly coming over, filling our water, clearing crumbs off the table, etc. Which sounds nice, but when it keeps happening over and over and over again. It is a bit distracting, you're trying to talk and have a conversation. And someone is leaning over you cleaning the table or refilling water every few mins. This annoyed my wife much more than me but I get it. Considering we had 3 people serving our table. I was surprised how long it took to get my drink. I ordered a margarita and it took like 15 mins before they brought it out. It was a good drink but it seemed to take a very long time. We started with an appetizer of Cilantro cheese, it's fried cheese with different toppings to eat with it, served with tortillas. I thought it was very good. While eating the appetizer a mixologist came out to talk and try and sell us tequila or other drinks. Another person coming over to interrupt our meal, but ok. By the time our appetizer came out it was getting darker, so the ambience was nice. But.... Then the music got very loud. We were sitting at a fairly large table across from each other. It was so loud we couldn't hear each other. This was strike 2 for my wife, already not happy with the constant interruptions, then it got too loud to hear each other. For our main courses I ordered the surf and turf (beef tenderloin with shrimp). My wife ordered the Mango-Tamarind salad. We got a side of grilled asparagus to go with it. As we waited for our meal (in silence aside from loud music). A manger came over to check on us (another interruption). No one ever asked if I wanted another drink, even though we had 3 waiters. Which I found odd, but ok. Food came out and the entire time eating we had people coming back and forth cleaning the table, checking on us, refilling water, etc. The grilled asparagus was good, but it's asparagus, not much to it. My surf and turf was ok, the tenderloin didn't have any added flavor. It was cooked medium well to well (they don't ask how you want meat cooked), the shrimp was good. Overall it was a 3 on a scale of 1-5, for one of their more expensive dishes I expected more. My wife said her salad was very average and nothing special. But at this point she was in full annoyance mode where the whole experience was agitating her. Another young lady came over asking how long we were in town and asked if would be coming back here or to any of their other restaurants. In my head I knew there was not a chance in hell we would come back after how unhappy my wife was. But I said "maybe but we don't have many days left so probably not." She gave me a card with a potential discount if we went to any of their other restaurants. In-between not talking because it was too loud and having people constantly interrupting. We couldn't get the bill or to go boxes to take our remaining food with us. I asked the first of our three waiters for a to go box he had no idea what I was saying. Then I tried to pantomime what I was asking by pointing to food and making a box he still did not understand. Then he asked the second of our three waiters to come talk to us. We explained to him that we just wanted some boxes as we still had food with us that we wanted to take, he said he understood. It probably took 10 minutes before they came back with boxes, but it felt like much longer considering the mood of the meal. They brought out our boxes asked if we wanted anything more. I said no I just wanted to check, and this took another 10 minutes to get our bill. Again this seemed like a very long wait considering all the staff. Overall, I would give the meal 2.5 to 2.9 stars the food was OK. I'd say the appetizer was the best thing we ate. The service was ok but considering how many people kept coming over and interrupting us and asking questions or trying to sell us things. And the music was way too loud for a restaurant unless you are having a bachelor party. For sure my wife's attitude affected my enjoyment of the evening, but for an upscale restaurant. I would say cut down on the number of people that interrupt your guests and turn the music down. I doubt that we would come back here the next time we are in Mexico. It looks great, the food looks great. The experience was just so-so and not worth what you spent to come here in my opinion.

Porfirio is an upscale Mexican restaurant located in the Hotel Zone of the Cancun strip. We got seated as we walked in for our 7pm reservation. After the server asked what type of water we preferred, it took a long time for them to get delivered, hence we were also ready to order. I had a question for our server and asked him to describe the thing beef steak and he described it very poorly, different from what had came out. It seemed like he had to think of something on the spot because he was not too sure. Food came out and was delicious. We did not order any drinks and our server kept coming around to ask if we were. We kept saying no and he looked a little disinterested. Other wait staff would come by and fill our waters which was nice. I recommend sitting on the deck so you can see a beautiful sunset along with dinner!

It was my second time here in 9 years and even with the renovations and new menu, the service did not disappoint!! I enjoyed guacamole, the garlic and mushroom quesadilla, and the enchiladas suizas. The music was amazing, waitstaff impeccable, and the food was beyond delicious. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Cancún.

SIX STARS!!!!! We found this spot by accident while staying at a local all inclusive but decided to venture out! When we pulled up in the taxi i realized we came to the right place based on all the exotic cars parked in front. I had made reservations on TableOne and is the way to go. They have alcohol lockers or the locals to keep their own bottles in and was really cool. Every employee in the restaurant had a uniform and were really well done and added to the vibe. The hostess took us to our table outside. They have inside and then cover outside and then outside and we got the outside right next to the water. They have their own private dock and you can pull up to have dinner if you are rolling large. They have a DJ rocking the music and it was an awesome vibe and was synched to music videos on a screen. The decor was really well done and this spot is just awesome!! For the birthday they bring out the desert on a special tray and set off a sparkler for you to hold to really celebrate you! They eventually had live Mariachis but at one point they played the music videos of a famous mariachi and his band and it was sparklers for everyone!! Dinner started with large corn chips and 3 types of salsas and the break them up to dip and were very good. We tried the Queso Fundido and the cheese was really good but it was the hot burrito size tortilla that it came was that was amazing and used the salsas with it. For my dinner i went with the Oaxaca Enmoladas was it is beyond fantastic. 4 chicken enchiladas with a black Oaxaca mole and sour cream and toasted sesame seeds and queso fresco. This is by far the best mole i have ever had!!! We also ordered the Chicken Enchiladas Suizas and the sauce was really good but my Mole was better. For dessert, I went with the Ancestral Chocolate Cake. six glorious layers of chocolate sponge cake soaked in Chiapas coffee syrup and was frosted with a whipped mascarpone, chocolate and hazelnuts and served with a crunchy chocolate palanqueta in a metate chocolate sauce. What I'm trying to tell you it was a religious experience and the best chocolate cake i have ever had! If you are in Cancun you MUST come here and try it as i can't tell you how awesome the experience is!!

a waterfront lively restaurant experience. The restaurant is located right next to Laguna Nichupte and of course the atmosphere is like no other. The restaurant does have a DJ at night and entertainment so just keep that in mind if you want something quiet or romantic. Its perfect walking distance from near by hotels in my case Hard Rock Cancun. The food is really good and the service is amazing all hands on deck not just your server. This is my 3rd location so i definitely 10/10 recommend. Ps the esquite isn't a soft as i expected it to be (undercooked)

Once we stepped onto the deck overlooking the lagoon, the whole experience elevated even further. The scenery was stunning, soft lights reflecting off the water, a gentle breeze, and live music drifting through the air like the perfect soundtrack to an already unforgettable night. Then came the food, each dish was its own little masterpiece. The bread service alone set the tone: warm, golden rolls with just the right touch off salt. The wedge salad followed. It was crisp, cold, and generously dressed, with smoky bacon and bright tomatoes adding all the right contrasts. The dry-aged steak was the star of the table, cooked perfectly with that deep, rich flavor only dry-aging can create. The roasted peppers and silky sauce on the side made every bite feel intentional. The octopus was another standout, tender, beautifully charred, and plated with a vibrant puree that balanced the dish with a touch of sweetness. One of the best plates we had. The table got more entrees since there were 8 of us but didn't get pictures. Sea brass was another favorite. Even the lobster soup arrived with flair: a velvety bowl paired with a seafood-topped toast that brought texture and richness together in one elegant bite. The beef tartare with fries was classic and fresh, refined without losing its fun. Dessert turned into a full performance. The liquid-nitrogen ice cream came with swirling clouds of cold vapor, dramatic and delicious. The birthday cake arrived crowned with berries and a sparkling candle that lit up the whole table. And just when we thought the night couldn't get any more whimsical, out came the towering blue cotton candy, playful, over-the-top, and impossible not to smile at. Harry's doesn't just serve dinner. It creates an experience, one where the service, the scenery, the atmosphere, and the food all work together to make you feel celebrated. We came to Harry's a couple years back when we visited Cancun and I am celiac and I had a lovely dinner with my partner. On this visit, we were seated at a beautiful table and we ordered drinks. Our waiter, a bald headed young man 30s, refused to check with the kitchen to see if they could accommodate me. I am celiac not vegan. I was told there was nothing I could eat except steak and he proceeded to show us the entire steak selection. Truthfully I was feeling slightly unwell from not eating the entire day. I felt like fish, he said I can give you dry fish no sauce on top. He suggested maybe we just do appetizers. We had a 8 pm dinner reservation, what the hell would I want to order appetizers and call it day? This waiter was chit chatting with his maitre'd and other wait staff and I felt terribly uncomfortable that i was told I couldn't eat anything from the men, we we all know was ridiculous and not true. We finished our drinks and asked for the check. I made a reservation for Porfirios next door bc I could see they had some gluten free options. Harry's used to be accommodating but no longer. We will not come to Harry's again for food. Not only this, the waiter was trying to once again embarrass us by advising us that we could walk to Porfirios, next door to the restaurant from the back patio. We got up and began walking towards the patio and suddenly I realized he was totally making a fool of us, why would we go from the back if we have to check in with the hostess stand in the front of the restaurant? We walked straight out of Harry's from front door. Never again. So disrespectful and such a rude experience. Not only this, Harry's canceled/ removed our open table reservation (even though we fulfilled it and paid for our drinks and still tipped generously), so I cannot even leave a review and send a private message to the restaurant. Pathetic customer service.

Then the dances started coming out in such vibrant costumes. In this lounge the sj booth is in the middle and open we were on the side. And everyone was all over as the dancers performed in the middle. I felt like i was at a dancing with the stars performances. Girls were getting flipped had head pieces on. And the guys knew how to shake it!! The costume changes were quick and they came out from one routine to the next! Cant wait to go back tonight and see it again. Everynight they change the genre. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This place is a 10/10 in my book. I honestly hope they expand to more locations and eventually come to the USA. This place would be a hit in New York. I loved the tiki bar esthetic lots of palms and reeds. Great music and they were playing the Knicks game when we arrived. Really an awesome place. Probably great for grab and go as well. I was there with my wife and kids but I could really see how this place is great for a date or quick bite with friends. Not a huge restaurant there were maybe four or five high tables but they use the space very well.

SCAMMERS!!!! SPEND YOUR MONEY ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!…read more They will tell you it takes 10 minutes and it takes half an hour - I had an excursion booked and couldn't waiting any longer, just to take your money!! I was staying at a hotel next door, WAITING to try this place. I came before it opened was told to come back at at 8. I had an excursion booked and was waiting on my shuttle at my hotel, I asked the blonde bartender how long it would be for 2 burritos, she assured me 5-10 minutes. She said she UNDERSTOOD I couldn't missed my shuttle for my trip and it would be fast!! By 8:30, my shuttle had arrived and I had to leave. I told the bartender I can't wait any longer and had to leave, she asked would I be coming back tonight after my excursion. I told her I would. When I came back at almost 9pm, I had to go back and forth with the manager about what happened. He said he understood about catching the shuttle and he had to make a call to his boss. After 45minutes of waiting and going back and forth, he said his boss checked the camera and I left even after waiting half an hour for 2 burritos, so I get no refund and no burritos!! I SHOWED HIM SCREEN SHOTS OF MY RECEIPT WITH THE TIME I was charged and the time I had to leave!!AND HE ACCUSED ME OF LYING SAYING I SHOULD'VE WAITED LONGER than half an hour, so he wouldn't help, just argue with me about why I left? I came back later that night thinking they would give me a burrito that I paid for!!! To go back and work and argue over something so frivolous, after THEIR EMPLOYEES misinformed me of the time it would take!!! If the PERSON YOU HAVE AT THE FRONT IS TELLING PEOPLE IT CAN BE MADE IN 5-10 minutes THATS WHAT SHOULD BE IMPLEMENTED!!! They took my money and REFUSED THE COMPENSATE!! Then the manger accused me of lying - disgusting business and unprofessional management. Took my money and my food. Trash business. Unprofessional service. While we were arguing, other people weee complaining about their service too. If you're a tourist, DONT COME HERE!

I was absolutely stunned how good my food was! I ordered the xx 2 boneless chicken thighs, grilled. The flavors were absolutely wonderful. I've never seen thighs on a thigh menu so I'm gonna say it is a fusion type dish. It came with sticky or jasmine rice but I upgraded to fried Thai rice. It was so flavorful. I think it had pineapple (not my preference) so I'd ask to leave that out next time. After a couple other dinner meal misses, I decided to come back a 2nd night. I got the red curry beef with jasmine rice. It was equally good. Highly recommend this place.

Food: We had ceviches, seafood tacos, octopus, seared ahi, salads, pork sandwich, margaritas, and wines. Everything was tender, perfectly seasoned, and fresh. Drinks were nicely balanced. Portions are plentiful. Fresh chips and salsas were delicious. Service: Both times, all servers here were attentive, friendly, and helpful. Quick, yet not rushed. Ambience: you don't get better than this, as it's right on the water. The view is the ocean. You're dining al fresco under a huge straw roof with a very Polynesian vibe. Side note: expect more Latin inspired flavors and dishes, not Thai nor Asian. If you keep that in mind, you'll love it. Highly recommend.
