Josh was managing things when we started and he understood the level of care we needed.  Only had one bad experience and after talking with Josh he didn't charge us for that day.  Early on Josh had set a schedule so for the most part we had the same caregivers. They became part of the family. The caregivers also had to deal with my Mom and to say the least she wasn't handling Dad's illness very well.  But, they were kind and respectful.  Josh handed the day to day operations over to Melanie during this period and the level of care never changed.   About 2 years after my Dad passed away, Mom needed some physical therapy but we didn't want her driving anymore.  Called Visiting Angels and once again they got us setup with some wonderful caregivers. By the time COVID hit and my Mom was now isolated we decided to have caregivers come just to spend time with her.  They were a perfect match as my Mom would enjoy gabbing away with them.  They would do anything she asked. If you're trying to make the decision about bringing strangers into a loved ones home, know that Melanie and the other Visiting Angels staff will do their utmost to help you through a difficult time. Myself and my sibling didn't live close but we felt that our parents were being well cared for.

I also like that there aren't body builders and show-offs hogging the equipment. PRS schedules each appointment so you ALWAYS know how long you will be there and there is never any wait. Their facility is clean and convenient and they treat you like family.

After going to several for different reasons, and then finding Chris..He has all my trust and faith he will do what he can for me. Last year I was in a terrible auto accident where I had what they called the hangman's break in my neck. I broke c1,c2,c3,t1,t2. And a few other fractures in different locations. After going to in-house PT at Waccamaw, who also were outstanding. It was time to go back to outpatient PT. So called Chris, explained what was going on, and that I would not trust anyone else with my recovery. That I was still alive was a miracle in itself, and I trusted no one else to take care of me. I'm 72 years old, and I can say, yes I still have some aches and pains at times, and will forever. You don't break 11 bones and not have some issues. But I'm walking, taking care of 2 young grandchildren, and doing pretty darn good. Thank You Par, for always being there for me and supporting me physically and mentally.
