I dropped off two pairs of pants to be hemmed on October 31st and was told that the pants would be ready the following week. I called on Nov, 14th after two weeks of not hearing anything and asked about the status of my order. I was told that my pants were "Literally up next, sitting on the table next to him" and he would be working on them immediately after he finished his current order. He promised they would be ready by noon the next day and that I would receive a text when they were ready for pick up. A few DAYS passed still no call, no text or anything about my order. I called on the 18th letting him know that I keep getting promises of when my items will be ready just for it all to be a lie. He told me that his brother had just passed, and he was catching up on orders. Of course, two more days passed in which I still did not hear anything from him, nor did I receive the so-called text I was supposed to receive regarding my order. I FINALLY get the text to pick up my order today just for me to get home for one of my pants NOT TO EVEN BE DONE! The literal stick pins are still in my pants where he was supposed to hem them. You keep my pants for way longer than you promised, lie about how long it will take or when they will be done, just for you not to even work on them?!?! And I prepaid!! Not only is this completely unprofessional but he is an absolute liar. This was my first time working with him and I promise you it will be the last. read more

This shop has got to be the worst and poorly run. The guy that runs the place will take your money up front and tell you it'll be done at a certain time and then he'll start on your alterations when you get there to pick it up. This has happened not once but twice now and I'm never going back this time. The past time it happened I paid extra to have my 4 pants done at a certain time and they weren't done on time ... had to come back a couple hours later. The work is pretty shotty too, had a few stitches come loose right after I got my clothes back. Ridiculous. read more

I used this service and regret spending the money. It doesn't seem like he even made any changes to my uniforms. With in a few weeks of having a pair of my newly tailored pants the stitching came out. I was working on a tight schedule at which time he promised to have them ready when I needed them as I arrived his business was closed even though his door hours stating it was his normal hours to be open. I have several other co-workers who have used him and stated them same issues. He seems to lack customer service. read more

Awful customer service. Dropped off two pairs of shorts for simple repairs, was told it would be a week. I was unable to make it back for almost two weeks. When I returned, i was told they were not ready yet. They had ordered the wrong zipper. No one called me to inform me. They had already went ahead and completely remove the old zipper. I took a much-treasured garment in for minor stitching and repair, today, and was truly impressed with the result. My garment was repaired while I waited and the work was excellent -- indistinguishable from when the item was brand new. I took my wedding dress in 5 weeks before my wedding. I did not get my first fitting until 5 days before my wedding. When I picked up my dress the morning of my wedding it was awful. The top was too bit. He had place a jewel on it for me. The jewel was off center. I had the skirt taken down. He left a huge pucker in my hip. He also left the raw edge on all of the outer layer of tulle. I could not believe he ruined my wedding day. He made no apologies. I paid $ 300 for him to ruin my dress. THe only thing he offered in return was a $ 50 gift certificate so he could ruin some more of my clothes! I do have before and after photos of my dress if anyone is interested. read more

This was literally the worst experience I've ever had in my life. I brought my wedding dress to Ray in July I tried it on, I was measured and I was told I would get a phone call for my next fitting. My wedding was in November and he said we had plenty of time to get the dress done. A month went by and nothing, so I called and was told he would reach out to me to set up an appointment. I waited another few weeks when I reached out yet again to make an appointment in September. It got pushed back to October because of the hurricane which is totally understandable but I was never contacted to reschedule for another appointment. When I finally went in my dress was not touched at all from when I dropped it off in July. I then made sure to make appointments every week considering I only had a month until my wedding. I was told every time I went in that it would be finished and every time I went in it was barely worked on and whatever work was done was done poorly. It seemed as if he was nervous to work on it. He was rude and always made it seem as if I was the inconvenience. And every time I called to check on the progress he would continue to be rude and nasty or have his employee tell me it would be done and then I would show up and it wasn't finished. When I finally picked it up, he wasn't in nor was the dress finished. The employee asked if it was ok and I said yes and left because at that point I was a week away from the wedding and didn't trust him for another second with my dress. The top of my dress is lace and the sleeve was bunched up, he told me that was because it had to be steamed which was another lie. I had four layers to my dress and the very inside one was longer then the outside one which he said that's the way it's supposed to be done which was a lie. I left crying, hating my dress and having to pay another tailor for the work he couldn't manage to do in the 4 months he had my dress. I asked for half of my money back and he refused to give it to me and stopped responding to me. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF A MASSIVE HEADACHE AND NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AND DEAL WITH THIS AWFUL PERSON. read more
