The church has an incredible history and tradition dating back over a hundred years but there is also a freshness and excitement among the people here. There is youth, young doll and kids choirs. They have life groups and multiple different categories to meet everyone need they go all out with the theme and decor for events holidays and experiences. I am not all a fan of mega churches and small mini churches. Brookhaven was perfect. It wasnt too big nor too small. It felt comforting. My first day there, went alone not knowing anyone, as looking for a church can be difficult. Everyone seemed very nice and welcoming. As I entered the worship service, I looked so lost lol and the first person to approach me and introduce themslves was Pastor Glenn. He was very warm, kind and welcoming. We chit chatted a bit and thanked me for comming to the church. The past few churches I have been to, I have never met the pastor. Pastor Glen personally welcoming me, was a very new and genuine experience for me. The service was great, as it felt very inmate and personal which was one thing I wanted in a church. I really enjoyed the service and I am looking forward to getting to know the church a lot more. Cant wait for next Sunday!
