John McKinzie is a true man of God. He's a man who practices what he preaches. We are truly thankful for his Godly impact on our family.

Ask the Community - Hope Fellowship McKinney

Is there a live pastor or is it on a screen?

Hello! Thanks for your question - our McKinney campus is a satellite campus that has a live video feed from our Frisco East campus. The worship is live, and there is a full campus staff available- but the message is typically a video feed.

Pastor Randy's messages will apply directly to your life today! As a parent, it was important to me that they have a strong children's program. My children love going to Revolution Church and learning about Jesus. I'm excited for them to be able to join Revolution Student Ministries when they enter middle and high school. When finding a church, it was important to me that it wasn't just a Sunday-only ministry. Rev has small groups of all kinds every day of the week and a strong community outreach program. I truly feel like a member of the family at this church.

This church is one where the pastor and his family are not perfect and they do not pretend to be they talk about their crap so you feel so comfy with yours. At the end of the day it is all about coming before the Lord and asking him to cleanse us dropping our baggage at His feet and striving to be what He has called us to be. I dont usually write reviews, but this one resonated to me. I have been looking for churches for…read morethe past few weeks and I had someone recommend this church to me. I am not all a fan of mega churches and small mini churches. Brookhaven was perfect. It wasnt too big nor too small. It felt comforting. My first day there, went alone not knowing anyone, as looking for a church can be difficult. Everyone seemed very nice and welcoming. As I entered the worship service, I looked so lost lol and the first person to approach me and introduce themslves was Pastor Glenn. He was very warm, kind and welcoming. We chit chatted a bit and thanked me for comming to the church. The past few churches I have been to, I have never met the pastor. Pastor Glen personally welcoming me, was a very new and genuine experience for me. The service was great, as it felt very inmate and personal which was one thing I wanted in a church. I really enjoyed the service and I am looking forward to getting to know the church a lot more. Cant wait for next Sunday!

Pastor Glenn breaks up marriages. His advice hurt my four kids and myself so badly. I am still…read morepaying the price for his horrific advice. He is a smooth talker, very charismatic, and I am sure he can just sweep this under the rug. Let me explain what happened. I brought my family to this church, along with some of the neighborhood boys who lived in Craig Ranch. After being there several months, I had a mission trip scheduled to Alaska. I was connecting with other like minded people and was hoping to connect them with our church. While I was gone, my ex wife decided to use Pastor Glenn as a way out of our marriage. She told him a bunch of lies about abuse and other things. What he did not know was that she simply wanted out of the marriage because she was getting a ton of money from her dad. I have four kids. They paid heavily for this divorce, and I am still paying for it today. It has ruined me, and it has been extremely difficult for all of my kids. I eventually confronted Glenn about what happened. He admitted to me that she came to him claiming all of this abuse was happening. He told her that she needed to leave the marriage right away and that she needed to leave the house. I asked him, why didn't you just have her call the police? If it was really that bad, calling the police would have revealed the truth. He just stood there with a dumb look on his face, like he knew he had messed up. It was almost like, yeah, you probably should have done that. Because if you had called the police, you would have easily seen that nothing was going on. You could have also talked to our older kids and they would have told you the same thing. He sat there with an expression like he knew he had made a mistake. This could have been cleared up so easily. If someone is claiming they are being abused that badly, the obvious response should have been, "Then let's call the police together." Instead, he took one side and gave her advice to leave immediately. A simple conversation with our older kids could have given him a completely different picture. A simple, "Hey, let's call the police together," could have cleared everything up. But he didn't do that. The true root of all of this was money and greed. And my four kids were the ones who suffered because of it. After I confronted Glenn about what happened, his response was basically, "Well, it happened. I'm sorry this happened to you." That's it. Why did our four kids have to suffer because of this? Our youngest was only two years old at the time, and our oldest was 16. I am still dealing with the consequences of what happened. My kids are still dealing with the consequences of what happened. And I am still paying a price for advice that never should have been given the way it was. I am a firm believer that God gives justice where justice is deserved. So I am leaving this in His hands. Good luck, Glenn.
