(By sharing drawings and photographs with me, he made sure that his design had my approval before construction began.) Work on the fence began when anticipated and was pretty much completed within 48 hours by 2 hardworking men who were consistently courteous. Moreover, without being asked to do so (or charging me to do so), they carted away a large pile of branches that had accumulated when shrubbery had to be pruned to avoid interfering with the new fence. (They also did the pruning--but only after asking for permission and showing me the branches that they recommended removing.)
