They made a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) for my son and sadly did not honor the plan. Parents beware! They also cancelled scheduling regularly due to staffing issues (I wonder why) in the last month my son went there, and their billing department hounded me daily, with little to no flexibility in payment terms with my higher deductible.

Having once been in the seminary and a pastoral minister, I've been in and out of a lot of nursing home senior living facilities. This place is tops! Really! All the staff are extraordinarily kind, warm, patient (no pun intended) and attentive to the needs of the residents. My mom couldn't have been better cared for. They always looked in on her to make sure she was alright. They treated mom (Marie) with dignity and respect, patience and kindness. Although once sponsored by the Lutheran Church, they have a very Catholic presence. The Diocese of Cleveland provides a priest to offer Mass there every Sunday, and they have a wonderful sister (nun) from Africa who is the coordinator. When mom died, I gave her whatever she wanted from her room. The food seemed adequate. But the most important thing was the atmosphere of real care and concern. It's nothing short of remarkable.

One night alone the nurse,named…read moreTha, gave me the wrong dosage of medication, refused to clarify what she had given me and refused to own her mistakes. Instead she put her ear buds in to ignore me!! Took me 3 hrs to get a different nurse to fix the problem. They even called the police on me for standing up for my right to clarify what I was given before I took it. And that was only 1 night. The nurse then told me that she understood why my ex beat me and my parents wanted to kill themselves the first time they saw me. They only want your insurance money, they don't care about people at all!! Also, the DON ,Ginger, and administrators Jen and Stefani do nothing but gossip about the private aspects of your life and tell staff things that are irrelevant to your care. I've worked in Healthcare for 25+ years and this place was appalling. It took them atleast 3 hours to answer the call light, so I was helping my roommate get to the toilet so she didn't soil herself. One night when an aid actually showed up,she asked him to help her to the toilet and he literally said, just pee in your diaper, which she wasn't wearing, it easier for me to change that. And when you report these rights violations, they lie to your insurance company and tell them you're healed when you aren't so you have t6leave,otherwise pay 365 a day upfront. I really feel bad for the people here who can't stand up for themselves. Now Mike in PT, Jamie in OT and the STNA Aquila are awesome and amazing. They went above and beyond for sure. The STNA Danielle has a horrible attitude. Even the social worker seems crooked. The actives staff, Brittany especially, are all amazing. The nurse Shannon is pretty good and Nurse Charity was very sweet and kind. Sadly ,however, the nurses, DON and administrators are crap. Even the receptionist tried to act like she had power over us.
