Recently my mother had terrible back pain, dangerous high blood pressure, vommitting, dizziness…read moreetc. symptoms and was sent to ER at Good Samaritan hospital. On the next day she was admitted into hospital. All the staff we met when she stayed there were responsible, kind, and patient. Especially Dr. Fritzgerald Estinfa, who was in charge of my mother in ER, was very experienced and rich in medical knowledge. He diagnosed accurately and gave the best treatment quickly. He was also very patient when explaining the situation to my mother and persuaded her to accept the next step treatment ASAP, which allowed her symptoms to be relieved the next day without need of surgery. In a word Dr. Fritzgerald Estinfa is not only excellent in his medical practice, but also sincerely concerned for his patient's well being, and care for their emotion need as well. Thanks Dr. Fritzgerald Estinfa and Good Samaritan Hospital, who gave my mother a wonderful experience in a urgent health problem.

They were very concerned not only for my husband but for his family too. I received updated during his surgery with this special App called "Family First" my kids and some friends were able to be updated through Harry's surgery.. This was very much appreciated. And comforting. The nurse Lisa would actually call me at home when he made any progress. Mike the nurse was my husband's favorite nurse. The experience was a great one even in a very scary situation. We also had a private waiting room that was very helpful for family to gather.

When I arrived early AM a few people arrived after me and were seen first. Sure I can rant that I was there first or that I had to wait 45 mins but let's be honest here, those people were smart and made appointments online so I can't complain. After the smart guys/gals that made appointments were seen I was promptly attended to and the entire staff was super nice. I got my diagnoses, medication and was on my merry way. If you don't want to risk a long waiting time I suggest making an appointment online if not expect people to walk in after you and get seen first because they've made an appointment. Overall I think this is a great spot to visit when your regular physician is not available.

She asked me virtually no questions and came to her "you have a common cold" diagnosis way too quickly. I now have to go to NJ to my primary physician for proper treatment, so all was just a waste of my time and money. I will never go to Excel again and will share my horrible experience with as many people as possible.

They answer the phones, put you on hold while they continue to eat and talk about what they plan to order for lunch. I've been a patient for 3 years and my doctor is Natalie Hirsch. This Dr takes several patients at a time so when they give you an "appointment" be prepared to wait at least an hour past that time. I almost passed out last time I had an appointment cause I hadn't had anything to eat cause I thought I would have labs done that day, but by the time I was done it was way afternoon and I needed food badly since I was nauseous. Dr. Natalie isn't as experienced as other doctors I've had, she seems perplexed by everything and doesn't really give you any answers. After my visit the next day I had labs done. She received them a couple days later, but i had to call for 10 days straight to try to get a response from her. In the 11th day the receptionist, yes I said "receptionist" not nurse called me to tell me that the doctor said everything was ok. WHAAT?? I saw my own results and everything was NOT ok, my labs were off and the doc didn't have the decency to call me herself and put an office worker to call me?! This is disturbing that a trained professional would play with the lives of her patients. Once again, SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN!!

Also recieved services from Alex Joanow, which should have been explained to me that I would have to talk to a guy for birth control options, and as another doctor. I prefer speaking to women one on one, although at this point, meh. Anyways, Sharon Garcia was very rude to me during the pap smear, in which i was crying and then moved, in which then she was nasty to me and said "take it, and put your legs back on the stirups" Sorry that i find the speculum painful! Feedback would be extra lube, and be gentle!!! Very poor bedside manner, and in the past had truama, and this experience gave me truama. It's been 4 years and i still think about how i was medically raped. This office does not follow the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists guidelines for the pap smear, which state every 3-5 years can be done if normal. Also, even if abnormal, the doctor didn't give me the option of waiting and letting the cells regress on their own, which 90% of the cells do. Doctor (Alex Joanow) instead used the cancer scare, when in realilty, there is no such proof that abnormal cells are cancer. Also, tested for HPV when i was 24, and read that if the HPV test is performed on 21-24 year olds, it can be inaccurate because we have changing healthy normal cells. Also was recommended for a coloscopy, and if I didn't like the speculum and how it was used, what makes one think that I will consent to a exam that uses the speculum and a microscope, plus a biopsy without any anthesia or numbing agent- and something that can affect fertility later on. Doctor didn't offer choices, or explain anything. They didn't even know if birth control affected my thyroid pills, and they did! They also seem to not care about consent, or care if the patient had a bad experience, whether prior or at their office. They also made the mistake of contacting my mom via phone calls, and harassing me with letters telling me to come in and make an appointment. It wasn't until that i wrote a letter back that they stopped, and canceled my appointment. One thing that annoys me is that if I didn't call back during the 1st letter, why even send a 2nd, 3rd, 4th letter. Also if you didn't hear from your patient- take the hint and maybe they don't want to come back! I don't know about any of the other practicioners there, but I don't recommend this place.
