Both Charlie and Josh worked with me to find a saddle for my hard to fit TWH. It definitely took a while as I had to ship back the first saddle that did not work. I was most likely a pain for them choosing a couple saddles that I decided not to get before they shipped. I at their website again, I found a clearance saddle that was just what I was looking for. Finally, the perfect saddle was sent my way and I received it yesterday. This morning I tried it on my horse and low and behold it fit perfectly. The saddle that worked for me and my horse is a Circle Y Grey Forest endurance saddle. The saddle is beautiful, and being a brand new saddle, it is extremely comfortable. I am so relieved that for the first time my saddle did not move nor did the cinch slide back, I know my horse Rigby was happier as well. I purchase a new saddle from this company and I cannot express my surprise and satisfaction with the products and service over a 2 year time period. My horse is a very difficult fit for a saddle. I probably spoke with and collaborated with most of the employees trying to get the correct saddle and fit for both my horse and myself. They were incredibly kind and patient and helped me adjust the saddle, fit, rigging and shim pads to make us both comfortable and happy. Having ridden English for 44 years it took a minute for me to adjust to and love western. I know my horse is happier too. I started shopping on this company's website and had high hopes based on the size of their inventory and their reviews, which I see now are self-curated. I was excited to be on the path of finding a nice fitting saddle for one or two of my horses, and finding a new home for my Martin saddle on trade-in. They gave me a nice offer on trade-in value. While considering new saddles, I made one request to perhaps consider another saddle and was essentially cut off from doing business with this company. The trade-in offer was abruptly rescinded as well. On the team members' write-ups on their website, they claim to be happy to help find a great fit for horse, rider, and budget, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I sent a note to the president of the company and will be willing to offer a different, and hopefully better, review if anything pans out. read more

I ordered a Circle Y Cascade Crossover saddle from Charlie one month ago for $1,920.00. It is an endurance saddle but the billets are 1.25" wide instead of the standard 1" English billets. It comes with a cinch included with this saddle. Anyways, I received the saddle on Saturday with no cinch. Charlie and I had discussions about the cinch that comes with the saddle so there was no need for me to buy one. Now I have a new saddle that I cannot even tack up due to the missing cinch. There is also glue residue on the seams of the saddle. I sent emails on Saturday. No response which they aren't there so I was expecting a call or email on Monday. Nothing. I called customer service a few times and kept getting the voicemail so I sent a follow up email instead. No response. I sent a chat message on their website to a Rebecca. She didn't even respond to me even though the status showed she was available. The chat was transferred to a Josh who didn't respond to me until 35 min later. Of course I wasn't still sitting at the computer waiting. I sent a message on their site. Today, Tuesday, I sent more emails to their customer service. I called again and left another message via voicemail. No responses at all. Not sure wtf is going on but after spending over $1900+ for a saddle, they have just decided to drop me as a customer apparently. I guess they will only be there for you when things are going well. If there is an issue with your order, they will disappear. read more

I feel like they gave me a very fair price on my trade in saddle. How ever one agent gave me a much better price then the 1st agent I talked too. They respond much quicker on the chat then they do on emails. They sent me a saddle to try very quickly. The test saddle was a fairly decent fit just a little big but a thick pad could fix for my young horse that I felt would be filling out more. I sent back and ordered the same saddle with a few custom changes. When the custom saddle came it was huge on my young horse and it had more of a rock to the saddle then the test saddle had. But it fit my older horse much better. So I kept it and will just continue to use the old saddle on my young horse. read more

I am literally crying. I really don't cry often. I asked this shop to consign my saddle. I haven't consigned one before so when the form asked listing price I thought they meant how much I would get for it. They listed it for $720. I thought great that will work with the 25% they take out. NOPE. they sold it for 600. I called and told him I wanted more for it and was told maybe they'll return it The check told me shipping was $50. Leaving me with $398. for my saddle that sells for $1200. new. This was holiday presents and clothes for us I hope you're happy stealing from me and the condescending was fun. read more

These folks were messed up at every turn. I started out inquiring about a saddle and if shipping could be delayed as I was going on vacation. I was told the saddle was sold but they would let me know if it came back. I continued looking for another saddle on the site and saw the saddle available for a week. Finally I sent an email asking if it was available. After not getting a reply I figured I'd better get it so I ordered online. Then I received a reply to my email and I said not to worry about rushing shipping as I was going to be gone for a week. So of course they immediately sent it. Well, it didn't fit my horse so I called to return it. I talked to Josh and he was a bit weird about me saying it didn't fit. Maybe because I didn't fit it and didn't know the exact issue (my horse trainer fit the saddle so I don't know exact details, but the wide tree didn't fit any better than the regular tree). Josh said that's how it's supposed to fit, tight in the shoulders. Well ok, but my trainer who works with my horse everyday says it doesn't fit vs. you who thinks it should work for me and have never seen my horse. So I asked about a refund. And Josh went on about a 5% restocking fee. I kept trying to ask him if I had to decide today whether it was a refund or an exchange if I found something, but he wouldn't let me finishing asking the question and at least 4 times, very condescendingly told me for a 5% restocking fee. When he finally listened to my question we decided I would look around for a few weeks and see if I could find another option for an exchange. I just set up trying a friend's Cashel and I come home to finding out they refunded me when they received the saddle today and charged the 5%. Horrible store!!! They rip you off if you order a saddle, and take your money that you put down on it that they make you put down. Then if you change your mind, there goes your money down. They hadn't even started making the saddle I ordered, but yet they still took all my money down, when I changed my mind after hearing horrible business practices about them. I am going to add to the one star reviews, primarily because of one employee, Josh. He has been alternately unhelpful, condescending, lazy, and rude. Today, when I called for information regarding a saddle ORDERED IN APRIL, he informed me that he had emailed the company last week. When asked if he could call the company, he became abrupt and snipped," I'll get right on that and call you back immediately". No surprise, he did not call. I reached out to the company making the saddle, was treated respectfully, and had an email from them explaining the delay within 3 hours. They also offered an apology, something Josh has been unable to bring himself to do. I have had good conversations with Charlie and found him helpful and responsive. Josh, on the other hand, is a lousy representative for any company. I am sure Martin will deliver the saddle but I would be hard pressed to use this company again. read more
